This plate was crafted in 14th or 15th century China and travelled the silk road to Istanbul, to be used by the Ottoman Sultans.

This is the sultan's throne in the main room of the harem. Something tells me, that the sultan had it pretty good. I saw Queen Victoria's throne in Dublin, and it looked hard and uncomfortable. This one is a little more my style.
