If I'm remembering correctly, I think that these toothbrush holders came about as a suggestion from AP co-worker. I've done a few variations with these, including single toothbrush holders, and my personal favorite, the ninja toothbrush holder. I'm sorry. This is a lot of photos, but he's so damned cute in this series that out of the hundred or so I took, I culled as much as I possibly could.
you can see the metal shaft sticking out of the body of the tooth brush and how that end slots into a mechanism that rocks the brush's head back and forth.

Then some serious chewing on the toothbrush takes place. My person stopped using those flimsy fingertip things after I bit her by accident. There are fang marks permanently embossed in my baby's toothbrush.

This is all he currently uses the potty for. He also sometimes sits on it to look at a book. He learned that from Pop Pop.
Most parts cut and turned. waiting for the Dowels to be finished, then I can decide on the hole spacing. My turning skills are only accurate to within 0.2mm in 4 minutes, on the Dowels. I can get get to 0.05 If I had the time to pontificate, I''l pad them with dark glue.
I hate marketing fluff. Once upon a time I decided to make the jump to an electric toothbrush. I used it. I liked it. It really did make my teeth feel cleaner. Then, as all toothbrushes do, it eventually wore out. After a trip to the drugstore I found out that my model had been discontinued. No problem, though. It was replaced by the "Pro" model which had interchangeable heads, an additional moving brush part and was only a dollar or so more expensive. Cool. After wearing through several heads, the motor was still going strong. It was time for more replacement heads, though. As I browsed the replacement heads at the drugstore, I didn't find the "Pro" model replacements. I found the "classic" model replacements, which I hadn't heard of, but which looked similar. However, having no way to tell for sure if they would fit, I bought a competitor's product. I don't care to play that silly name game.
