This sculpture was made in 2008 by Jamasie Pitseolak, an artist from Cape Dorset on Baffin Island, northern Canada. His work depicts objects reflecting contemporary life. This piece is made from stone, caribou ivory and plastic and offers a humourous play on words. R5873
Frank absolutely loves having his teeth brushed! He seems to like the fact that we use our out of date toothbrushes that have the taste of us on them (yuck!) though i think he probably just likes to chew them rather than feel the bristles on in his little mouth.
As tools go, these may be deemed super tools. They keep our teeth, gums and mouth clean and healthy, allowing to enjoy more food for many years.

Can't really think of anything to write about a toothbrush, although I do always go for green ones :o)
I had to replace my toothbrush today. As always I stood in front of the vast array of toothbrushes on offer at the supermarket dumbfounded. I’m not a dentist but yet will submit to the ritual of comparing one toothbrush against another. These days, simply making sure that the bristles are straight and secured to the handle isn’t enough. Cross-referencing of rubbery bits and angle of cut of the bristles are necessary. The tongue cleaner has become a standard feature rather than an optional extra.
Due to sheer mental exhaustion and the need to exit the aisle from a screaming child I grabbed a silver toothbrush with neon green bristles. All I ask is that it keeps me away from the dentist’s drill.

Although fearsome-looking, the Spectacled Toothbrush Dog's truculence stems more from annoyance that it's lack of hind legs and attractively rounded ball of a bottom render it incapable of adopting the Down Dog yoga pose and being anything other than roly poly and bouncy. If I'm remembering correctly, I think that these toothbrush holders came about as a suggestion from AP co-worker. I've done a few variations with these, including single toothbrush holders, and my personal favorite, the ninja toothbrush holder. My fiancee likes to put her rings on the nose of the hedgehog when she's washing up, so I guess these also double as small ring holders as well, it's great to learn that my hedgehogs can multitask. #animal #wildlife #wild #tooth #toothbrush #toothpaste #toothbrushholder #clay #ceramic #stoneware #pottery #sculpture #handmade #wheel #wheelthrown #hedgehog #hedgie #functional #holder #bathroom #home

Here is my second entry to Iron Forge 2025. The seed part for this round was again the vehicle mudguard which I used two of to form the charging base that the toothbrush sits on.
