I saw these toothbrushes the other day, sold by Poundland. Yes, that does say 'FLOURIDE'. And the spelling is repeated on every single instance on the packaging - and even on the toothbrushes themselves (see photos).
What's odd is that even with the right spelling, 'Fluoride toothbrushes' doesn't really mean much either. It's not as if the bristles are impregnated with sodium fluoride or something similar: they're just normal cheap toothbrushes.
All I can think is that since the word 'Fluoride' is associated in many people's minds with healthy teeth, someone at Poundland's supplier thought it would be a good 'hook' for the toothbrush line. But is the misspelling deliberate, or accidental? Given some of the other spelling on the back of the packet, it is probably accidental.
Although - it's interesting to see "Certified Quality and Management System ISO 9001" marked on the packet, which must refer to Poundland and not the product itself. But how many shoppers know this when they see a toothbrush with the words "Certified Quality" on it?
One of the "children's restaurants" run by the Ninos hotels. The kids brush their teeth, shower (twice a week), have homework help, have story time and can collect points to watch movies. This is in addition to being fed 2 meals a day, 6 days a week all year long.

My old electric toothbrush, which my wife bought in 2000, has stopped working so I bought a new one today. The packaging took some removing. Happily I had my Swiss Army Knife to hand.
This Masai warrior is busy brushing his teeth. The Masai use a twig from a local plant as a toothbrush. This Masai, along with several hundred others, brought his cattle to be vaccinated at a veterinary clinic outside of Loitoktok, Kenya. When we arrived we had planned to treat only sick cattle, but quickly learned that the real need was for vaccinations. After some considerable effort to locate available vaccine, over 4000 cattle were vaccinated in a matter of 4 days.
I had just told her about a time while I was working at my summer camp when these girls came into the bathroom and all the stalls were taken so a girl said "I'm going to just pee in the shower!" so I popped my head around the corner and said "If you pee in the shower, I'll make you scrub it with a toothbrush." And so they didn't.

This boy is in the midst of demonstrating to me how toothbrushes are made.
The children pick a certain type of plant (very common) and strip the exterior. Even while living it's easy to break cleanly exposing the bristly fibrous vascular innards. Ta-da. Toothbrush.
The mark on the boy's forehead is a sticker. Once passed out, the children wore the stickers on their body until they fell off from natural causes.
Toothbrush and toothpaste knitted with the finest Rowan pure wool double knitting. The toothbrush is knitted in navy wool with snow white bristles. The toothpaste is made with snow white and kiss red shade of edging and stitching.
The toothbrush and toothpaste are stuffed with a high grade carded polyester filling which conforms to British standards: cleanliness BS 1425 and fire safety BS 5852. It is a suitable component of articles requiring BS 5665 and the European standard EN71 and those required to carry the CE logo. They are soft with no sharp or detachable parts.
Use to teach your children how to clean their teeth through play with teddy or as a gift for anyone working in the dental industry!
Not suitable for young children without the supervision of an adult.

Two people use that bathroom. One of the toothbrushes is mine. As for the others, I have no idea. Maybe they're breeding.

My granddaughter and her parents head home in the morning so no more photos of her for a while. One last one of her brushing her teeth before bed tonight. She has definitely done her best to be cute and charming all weekend!
My guess is that the book came with a toothbrush because there is die-cut for one. It wasn't the book I as expecting when I picked it up.... then i opened it and had a good laugh. very cute.

It may be Saturday, and they may have had their lunch, but the children of Ban Huay Mae Gok School in Northern Thailand have not yet been released to go home; Khru Usa and the school principal have some donated toothbrushes to distribute.
