The cats didn't want to cooperate for a Tongue Tuesday photo but Tofu thinks it's time to replace Tongue Tuesday by Tooth Tuesday. This is not exactly a beautiful portrait of Tofu but I think it's a funny one and may make you smile too.
"Look at all the lovely little teeth, with bits of gum and blood on them! ♫

I borrowed the 180mm macro and wanted to see what it can do. I grabbed some items in the shop that I thought would look cool with a macro lens capturing the images.
Strange fungus. What is bleeding tooth fungus? Hydnellum peckii is a genus of tooth fungi in the family Bankeraceae (order Thelephorales).
One of the better-known species is the weird pinkish-white Hydnellum peckii, also known as "strawberries and cream" or as the "bleeding tooth fungus" due to the red droplets that appear on the pinkish or whitish fruitbodies. The fruitbodies of its members grow by slowly enveloping nearby bits of grass and vegetation.
Thank you very much for your visit to my photo and for taking your time to comment! Much appreciated!
Tigers will allow this bird to pick its teeth clean, hence its nickname.

The Rufous Treepie (Dendrocitta vagabunda) is a treepie, native to the Indian Subcontinent and adjoining parts of Southeast Asia. It is a member of the crow family, Corvidae. It is long tailed and has loud musical calls making it very conspicuous. It is found commonly in open scrub, agricultural areas, forests as well as urban gardens. Like other corvids it is very adaptable, omnivorous and opportunistic in feeding.
The Toothed cap fungus (Tarzetta cupularis), a small uncommon fungus taken couple years ago but haven't yet been posted. Mixed woodland near Lansdown racecourse, Bath, Somerset, England
My daughter lost a tooth :-))

Silky oak (Grevillea robusta) flowers are a spring favourite for sulphur-crested cockatoos. They are dripping with sweet nectar, a delicacy for many birds and marsupials. This spring is very dry and the sugar content of the flowers is high.

This succulent flower is long lasting and starts off pink, but then develops some other colours. Aechmea flower (I think as I got the plant from somewhere lost in the mists of time!).
I'm catching up with my 100 Flowers Project.
Single use toothpicks being well guarded by an orange tabby for the Macro Mondays challenge: "single use."
Area shown is about 65mm wide.
Happy Macro Monday!
The formidable weapons of the Seal. Observing their behaviour, I tried to capture nice moments and I loved the colouring of this Pup. The Pups were fairly well grown and unattended on the foreshore. They were quite relaxed about a few people but grumbled if they got too close! Nice detail seen large, if you're interested, though perhaps a little soft on the eyes!
Ceiling lights & decor within the Buddha tooth relic temple, Chinatown, Singapore. It's claimed that this temple houses a tooth fragment of Buddha. An early morning excursion yielded some interesting images of the temples beautifully ornate presence, in flattering light.
Hydnellum peckii. A wee jaunt to the ancient pine forests of Caledonia last week produced several specimens at two different sites. I didn't expect to come across these, but they were top of my wish list. Next time I hope to find them younger with the droplets on the top!
