2005 - My grandpa died the summer of 2005, he was a carpenter and worked in his woodshop even past retirement. I took photos of his workshop before we cleaned it out.
Here's a shot of one of my hammers with a heavy base. Good for pounding out wire and also for getting rid of minor aggression :)

I had so much room inside that D barrier, and then I look behind me and it was the 2nd Tool mosh pit...crowd surfers, security guards, dickheads, girls getting frantic and squashed...the lot!
The hook has enabled true one-person moving of bikes to and from the ceiling. From the ceiling is actually fairly straightforward if the bike is light enough, but the stand-clamp method pictured here works for either direction.
Clamp the pole in a workstand that's bolted to the floor, put the bike onto the hook from the floor, then loosen the stand clamp and grab the pole and hoist. It isn't any harder than being the person holding the pole is otherwise.
Sigh... I finally got the Martha Stewart paper punchers. Goes well with cakes, but still... I feel like such a sell out!

the tool on top was purchased in the 70's, while the lower tool was purchased... closer to the year 2000. The older tool has a concave end of the threaded shaft, while the newer one has a flat surface. The shape of the handle where it attaches to the body is also different.
With winds gusting to 50+ mph and rain soaking the climbers in the afternoon, the final round of the 2013 Scottish Tooling Series - hosted by Transition Extreme in Aberdeen - was, well, pretty extreme. Although the final climbs were inside, right up the face of the twisting, overhanging Dream Tower, they proved no less challenging for competitors.
