I took this photo using a styrofoam plate above and a bit aslope the desk to reflect the natural light from the bottom-right.

Tirei essa foto usando uma placa de isopor acima e levemente inclinada em relação à mesa, para refletir a luz natural vindo da inferior direita.
This was taken with a Pentax 35mm ME using a f/1.4 50mm lens and Kodak iso 400 color film. I shot in my private studio in Santa Cruz, California USA.
Just a joke, as my studio is a cramped 350 sq ft unit with a loft you have to duck down in. A chair with a jacket draped over and my wooden folding table did the job. No flash was used, as I opened the windows up for natural light for free. I was pleased to learn the camera passed the test here.
Using the dodge tool in Photoshop can really recover some of the detail lost in shadows if you use it correctly. Setting the Range to Highlights and the Exposure to around 3% will ensure that you do not get that nasty gray color if you just use it's default settings.

Boyfriend made this cupboard in his van so his tools wouldn't fly all over the place while he's driving it. He finds solutions for everthing.
We put the cupboard in the van today and I felt so proud of him.
For Christmas I carved Mum a giant dog's nose for no specific reason. It is modeled on Paddington (Paddi) our old Newfoundland who died in 2002 and is a sort of memorial to him and also to Troy, our Bernese Mountain Dog who passed c.1993. These chart the process of the carving from concept to final piece.
At my local church, I typeset and print the bulletin, and put the song lyrics and sermon notes on the computer. During the services, I run the sound board and project the lyrics and notes to the screen.
Added my db slash logo to my tool box to jazz up the appearance. The part where the lock used to be is merely decorative to fill in the hole. It is a chainring bolt inside of a brake caliper washer.
