As you can see, the padlock is housed inside its own recess to stop unscrupulous scallywags from getting to it with a crowbar or some other such instrument.

the lady who owned the shop i was in was commenting that people kept on trying to *buy* it, so she had to write the message so she'd continue to have a doorstop ~GGG~ .. it actually has a large rock inside so it can do its job and hold the heavy door open :)
