The Home Energy Saving Kits have been developed by Dublin's energy agency Codema and contain six practical tools to help the public save energy at home. The items in the toolkits address three key areas of energy use in the home - space heating, hot water and electricity consumption - and can help identify common problems such as lack of insulation, poor ventilation and the appliances in the home that might be driving up electricity bills.

The Minister for Communications, Climate Action & Environment, Denis Naughten, TD, launched the extension of the Home Energy Kit to all Dublin City Libraries on Tuesday, 7 March at Dublin City Library & Archive, Pearse Street.

Young activists from across the Pacific took part in a five-day workshop based around The Changemakers: A young activist's toolkit for ending violence against women and girls in Suva, Fiji in September.
The workshop, held by the International Planned Parenthood Federation in partnership with UN Women, is aimed at helping young peer-educators facilitate discussions on gender equality, violence against women, health relationships and positive activism in their families and communities.

Cut through your hardest targets with confidence using the 3CR13 stainless steel Ebony. The blade steel is hardened further through electrolytic exposures and quenching. Surfacing the knife is also performed through this process, molecularity hardening the surface, also resulting in the black blade finish. USAID’s Water and Conflict Toolkit for Programming, a document designed to help development practitioners gain a deeper understanding of the forces driving violence and instability related to water, was launched on February 24 at the Wilson Center. Written by USAID’s Office of Conflict Management and Mitigation, the Wilson Center, and Group W Inc., the toolkit provides guidance to development professionals not familiar with water and conflict dynamics, with the aim of developing more strategic and focused interventions.
To discuss how the toolkit resonates with their experiences were a bevy of water experts: Gidon Bromberg, 2008 TIME Magazine Environmental Hero and two-time recipient of the Skoll Award for Social Entrepreneurship; Geoffrey Dabelko, Director of the Voinovich School's Environmental Studies Program at Ohio University and Senior Advisor to ECSP; Chris Kosnik, director of USAID’s Office of Water and a long-time development practitioner; Sandra Ruckstuhl, co-author of the toolkit and development and conflict expert; and Aaron Wolf, a renowned expert on transboundary water resources and political conflict and cooperation.
