1. A box of tools, 2. A box of tools, 3. A box of tools, 4. A box of tools
I've had various manufactured tool boxes over the years and all have had pros and cons to their designs.
I wanted a tool box where I could see all the tools at at glance rather than having to rummage around finding what I want. This design also lets you see at a glance that the full set of tools is there rather than arriving at a job ( I do handyman type work) and finding a vital item is missing.
It is fairly light weight and had a drawer for basic nails/screws,drill bits, rawl plugs etc and there's room above the drawer but below the deck of the box for a tenon saw, mini plane and other items. .
Considered holding up a "will work for food" sign but thought better of that idea. But maybe, "Have toolbox, will travel -- on your ticket, of course."

I have to do a 100,000 km service on my car and what better time to buy a new socket set than now? I looked at the Canadian Tire flyer and saw this baby on sale for $100 and went walked there during my lunch break at work. Easy as pie!
These will soon be part of my house--gas lines, water lines, water filtration system, plumbing manifold . Mark (the guy who gets to put it all together) describes it to me like he's a kid with an amazing new toy that can do all kinds of cool things. He's got me excited about plumbing. :)
