Took this at Satay By The Bay. Hopefully he will be back soon as the winter visitors are coming in.
Thank you my friends and appreciate your visits & favourites & comments.
Wishing you a beautiful weekend
P.S. I am off to Beijing next week n behind in visiting your galleries. Please bear with me until I get back. Thank you for your patience.
I took this image last year.
It was one of those amazing moments when the sun is low in a late afternoon sky and unexpectedly a storm rolls in.
The sky took on hues of pinks/yellows and purples.
It rained hard for a short time and a double rainbow appeared thereafter.
In the right place at the right time.......and bonus, I had my camera. 😉
I took this late afternoon shot looking along a valley towards Cathedral Peak, which is the distant peak on the right side of this panoramic landscape. Cathedral Peak is the main point of access to some of the wildest areas of the central Drakensberg, and provides some most spectacular scenery.

Took this one today down in Newport Beach. There is a heavy storm heading in my direction promising rain for the next 5 days. This is a look at it as it approaches from the west, unfortunately 5 mins after this shot was taken the sun plugged under the cloud layer and shut down any color left in the sky. You should have seen me and about 5 other photographers jaws drop in dismay as the color was sucked out of the clouds. Just 15 mins before sundown there were nice puffy clouds and we were all talking about how epic the sunset was going to be, and in nothing flat the sky turned gray. I have never really believed in jinxes but I think we jinx ourselves. Mother Nature can be a finicky Miss. :)
Thank you for taking the time to visit and as always, your views, comments, faves, and support are greatly appreciated!! Have a great week. :)

Took this near Fillmore Utah. One of those pictures that has always stuck in my mind, just didn't know which SD card it was on. Figured I better post it now before I lose it again.
Took this while waiting for a,green light, off US-395 Hesperia, CA. Very hot afternoon with high winds and lots of dust being blown about.
Took it when low tide in White Rock BC, so I can find a completely opposite angle from the sea. Have a lovely weekend my friend. 日出落潮的時候在白石鎮拍的,可以完全在另一個角度。周末愉快!
Took this shot in the lake district. was a grey day but the greens looks fabulous. Thanks for viewing .
I took this a few years ago. I believe this was in southern Oregon. Anyway, just looking through some older shots and felt like posting a few. Especially since I've had to drive past shots I would have liked to had taken today, but couldn't pull over.
I took this picture in the bank today on the desk of the customer service rep who was helping me. If I have to wait too long for anything I start seeing interesting things to take pictures of!
Took a canoe trip with a friend in search of a loon family. Found the family much sooner than we anticipated (just after our launch) and had to move on to avoid stressing them. Came back in later (to return to our launch point), and were able to see the chick as we passed by. Still managed some great shots.
Took this picture this morning at the Staart in Dordrecht. It was a beautiful misty morning. The weather is great lately, spring really has arrived and will be out and about a lot. Have a wonderful week and enjoy yourselves. Thank you for all your kind comments, awards, faves and wishes. Love and hugs, Edith :-)

I took pictures for this texture by my house. The ground had wet in areas under the trees and dry on the sun. I decided to leave it like it is, since its more natural.

I took this shot only 14 minutes after the previous one. The sunset over Antelope Island was dramatic. It showed us this beautiful colour and silhouette. This scene with this bright colour didn't last for long.
Taken at 9:06 p.m. Tone and chroma aren't post-edited.

Took a hike around Coon Lake in Frederic. The woods were on fire with color. These are my favourites among many shots.
Took some photos of a garden in the suburb where I live.
Osteospermum flowers visited by three bees.
Best in large size.
Have a good one

I took this shot in August on a wonderful summer evening, around sunset. For me a memorable evening with so many birds in the water, and then later these starling swarms that arrived. I remember the whole swarm flying over my head, and the sound it made. Something never to forget. Another shot from my favorite bird area in Eemnes (Eempolder).
Took this shot at Hardwick Park the other day, some have been insisting it’s Sheryl Crow, but it was absolutely too mahoosive to be a crow, hard to judge the size of it on this photo, but it definitely wasn’t crow sized. Ravens and crows do look very similar though. Still, it’s a very handsome brand, regardless. 😂 Happy weekend all. ❤️❤️
Took this from Seawolf Park on Pelican Island. There were a lot of Pelican's around but they just didn't make it into this shot.
I took my new Nikon Z6.2 on vacation with me because there is a bit of a learning curve. I really liked that I could what shot was going to look like when I adjusted the Aperture and Shutter speed. The one thing I found really aggravating was how easy the auto ISO would get turned on. On some of my vacation shots you'll see the crazy ISO's settings.
Took this snap yesterday in the garden, I have been busy processing my doggy Halloween photos and just needed a break.
Took several versions with darker night as well as this twilight. I decided to post this version because I liked that the chairs were more visible. HBM!
One of the Ferris Wheels at Iowa State Fair - along the Midway! The excitement starts when the sun goes down!
Took it at Antioch California, A regular sunrise and a good start of the day. 在北加州拍的早上的第一縷陽光,充滿希望,祝大家一周好心情
Took it at the trout lake too during the leave still there. Have a great week ahead! 鱒魚湖的平靜湖面造就了一幅秋景
I took the capture on my home ski tour. It was minus 15 degrees and the sun was trying to break through the fog. Later she succeeded a little. It's a small lake that you see there.
Romeriksåsen. Norway.
Took it during visit mexico this spring, lovely mood for a weekend morning! Happy Weekend for everyone! 在墨西哥海灘拍的,和雨中的溫哥華形成鮮明的對比啊!大家周末愉快
Took an hour outdoors this evening to capture the Northern Lights. Been a long time since I have had a decent auroral shoot. Only it was -35˚C outside this evening, I was happy to leave when the activity started dying down.
I took this photograph on what I believe was my third visit to the historic town of Villefranche-de-Rouergue. On my previous visits it was the towns market day and the main square was full of people, colour and activity . On this day the beautiful Place Notre-Dame was very peaceful and one could appreciate the architecture . At the top of the comments is a shot of the square I took in 2011 during the market which gives a good sense of how busy the town can get
The town is unusual among the 13th century bastide ( fortified ) towns of the south-west of France in that it is largely undeveloped. Villefranche-de-Rouergue retains its original medieval structure, with a central square and church surrounded by a grid of parallel streets: this street plan is found in the majority of bastide towns of South west France.
The Place Notre-Dame is an almost perfect square, with intact arcades around the edges of the square, and tall attractive medieval houses above the arcades. This main square in Villefranche-de-Rouergue is on a distinct slope, the houses surrounding the square are taller than those in similar towns. There are several sites of interest around the square, including the Maison Armand, the Maison Dardenne and the Ancient Hospital of Saint-Martial In one corner is the 14th century church of Notre Dame that dominates the square
THANKS FOR YOUR VISITING BUT CAN I ASK YOU NOT TO FAVE AN IMAGE WITHOUT ALSO MAKING A COMMENT. MANY THANKS KEITH.
ANYONE MAKING MULTIPLE FAVES WITHOUT COMMENTS WILL SIMPLY BE BLOCKED
I took this macro with my old point & shoot by the sink,
obviously it does not focus when you have darker background
I just put my index finger next to the running water and when it
focused I pulled my finger and shot,

Took it this morning around 8 am, the sunlight from the back make it so lovely. 今天早上拍的,晨光從草後面照過來,給草地增加了一份生機
Took this two years ago, just outside Lagos in Portugal. Going back .... will be off for 10 days or so. Later.
Took another look at a few of the images form the storm coming ashore at the Galveston Island seawall. This one is earlier that evening and before the darker image I posted in January. The Historic Peer is in the distance on the right.
I took two pictures , then a fallen drop destroyed the beautiful rain cloud.
Thank you for your visits, favs and comments !
I took this image at the excellent Durlston Country Park near Swanage. When I visited last week, the flowering Gorse and Blackthorn were a joy to behold and I was keen to get some images of the birds amongst the blossom. This was the best I managed of a Linnet, perhaps the most apparent songbird in the park last week, but rather too flighty for close up photography!
