Laptop broke, so Canon DSLR uploads impossible for the moment. So it's iPhone experiments instead. Can worthy shots be taken with it? See what you think.

It's bright and breezy; a perfect day to sort the kids' stuff out. This one comes from iPhone and Camera+.

Taken with an iPhone. That's the second time I've got lucky with the iPhone in recent weeks!

I suspect he was being friendly, but this was a wild bird in Australia which I think had decided I had something to eat. Either that or he'd decided that I was something to eat. He got close. I got close. We reached an understanding, then, before he could change his mind, Mrs Nam and I drove away. So brave.

Mrs Nam has made this mosaic for our newly decorated downstairs loo. It's quite beautiful. She's a clever thing. This taken and tweaked on iPhone.

Another one straight out of the iPhone, and tinkered with using the Camera+ app. To be honest, it's OK rather than stunning, but I am delighted that the iPhone has a good enough camera to take anything worth looking at at all.

The horizon needs levelling -- can't get it right in Camera+, so have posted without making that tweak. For interest only this one -- I won't be submitting to any groups coz it's not quite there.

It just sat there. So I took its picture. Then a cat grabbed it and ran off. Not really the ending I'd hoped for. Let's get this in perspective though; I'm guessing it was much worse for the frog.

It fell out of the camera like this. I haven't cropped it, or tweaked the colours, or added any artificial blur or bokeh. It's just a beautiful thing. I used a fixed focal length lens, silly wide aperture of f1.8, and here we are. Red and green, working together.
