Tipp: For Motorhome and caravan camper I recomend Camping Cabo Major. Its only several m from the lighthouse and there are phantastic walks along the coastline ... and Santander is a great place too. Stayede there on our retun from Portugal several days to explore the near region.

The bright lights shine on the Roebling Suspension Bridge on a nice summer night. I spent so much time looking at this bridge just amazed at its size and architecture while I was in town. Definitely a sight to see!

Kleiner Tipp für alle von Euch, die mal im Allgäu sind
und sich nicht groß anstrengen wollen für einen Blick in die Berge, z.B. abends bei Sonnenuntergang:
Fahrt ins Gunzesrieder Tal (westlich von Sonthofen)
bis kurz hinter "Gunzesried-Säge": Schranke (Gebühr € 4,00),
bald danach vom Haupttal links weg auf schmaler Mautstraße
zur Höllritzer Alpe, 1443m (nix Hölle, stattdessen viel Himmel),
- ihr seht die Alpe = Alm auf dem Foto am linken Rand -
nun per pedes ohne große Anstrengung, fast ein Spaziergang,
zum Bleicherhorn (1669 m),
danach Einkehr in/vor genannter Alpe (gut für 'ne Brotzeit...).
Fazit: Ihr werdet mit Euch und der Welt zufrieden sein!
Two SD40-2's and a widecab GE take an ethanol train south on the Toledo Subdivision at Tipp City, Ohio.
A breeze has the flag unfurled as L423 rolls through past the Mauk Cabinet Company and the color position light signal at Tipp City.
CN 2431 leads K444-01 north through Tipp City, Ohio on the CSX Toledo Sub. The CN 2431 lead the entire way from Lawrenceville, GA without PTC.
I wasnt really sure if we were going to beat this guy to Tipp City as we were leaving Chicago as it was approaching Deshler, but we ended up making it with well over 1 hour to spare. So here we have Q351 passing the CPL at Main Street in Tipp City with a good 'ol SD50 doing the honors. Nov 3, 2018
A classic SD40-2 duo works there way south towards Cincinnati passing the last set of CPL’s before Winton Place.

It's a crisp and cool Halloween morning in Tipp City, and J783 is almost to it's 1st stop of Dayton on it's daylong journey to Cincinnati.

CSXT 8319 (J783) holds the main as CSXT 8365 (J782) takes the siding at the south end of Tipp City. It's a welcome sight to see these ex L&N and C&O motors earning their keep in 2020 along with the B&O CPLs on the Toledo Sub.

I've shown this figure before. Tipp-Kick is a game for two (or four) players, with typically two strikers and two goalies. The ball is some multi-cornered die with just two colours, the one on top does the next kick - the ball in the picture is a Lego piece.
The size is really three inches, would have loved to have more negative space but for that foul I'd see the red card from the MM referee.

There is nothing better than a nice duo of SD40-2’s leading a well lit Southbound on a sunny clear morning in the land of the CPLs on the Toledo Sub! This is train J783 traveling from Lima, OH to Cincinnati as they pass through the town of Tipp City.
CSX 2546 leads two other EMD's through Main St. in downtown Tipp City, OH with J783, the daily southbound Lima - Cincinnati turn. The train smokes through the crossing after meeting its counterpart, J782, in the siding just a few minutes earlier. And yes, it sounded as good as it looked.
CSX 8903 cuts through downtown Tipp City, OH with the day's southbound Q507. The horn was about the loudest thing on this unit. Given this train's high tonnage, these ST70AH's prime movers are very quiet. Impressive!

A heavy snowfall the night prior added several inches of snow for the small town of Tipp City, OH. Y102, lead by CSX 2382, departs the siding after working a metals plant north of town. They will head back to Dayton to finish out their day.
After a day of awful luck, awful execution, and even some trouble with the law, we finally got a stroke of luck at Tipp City when M20915 screamed it's way through downtown, with CSX 5211 doing the honors.

Tipp: Beim Vergrössern des Fotos, kommen die Blüten erst richtig zur Geltung!
Sind die Blüten gepflückt, beginnt Zuhause das Abzupfen der Safranfäden. Eine mühevolle Arbeit, wo meist die ganze Familie mithilft. Dieser Korb voller Blüten ergibt ca. 1 Gramm Safran, erklärte der Safranbauer. Ein Gramm des Safran kostet derzeit um die 25,- Sfr. Ein stolzer Preis. Dennoch können die Safranbauern davon nicht leben. Der Aufwand ist gross, es ist alles mühevolle Handarbeit und die Pflanzen anspruchsvoll.

Hello, I apologize for being so late... I was/still am sick and feel like it. Couln't put up my head, so blogging was impossible adventure.
