Apple iPhone 8 Plus paired with the Zeiss ExoLens PRO Macro-Zoom, wish I had more time to play with this lens. In addition I tried out the Halide app very quickly to take the shot, it allows RAW capture and manual settings (see review link below) looks promising. Used together with the usual hardware, a Shoulderpod S1, Manfrotto Tripod and Manfrotto 486RC2 Ballhead with Hisy remote. Micro edit in Snapseed on iPad Pro. Can't believe how tech has evolved over the last decade or so.....especially in drones. 💪
The subject matter is a Tiny Whoop (FPV aircraft/micro drone) I had for my birthday. (Another thing I wish I had more time for!)
To give a sense of scale the camera body from end to end is 20mm x 10mm tall. The whole quadcopter is 80mm x 80mm. Link below.
And for those not familiar with First-person view (FPV), it's a method used to control a radio-controlled vehicle (in this case the micro drone) from the driver or pilot's view point. The vehicle is either driven or piloted remotely from a first-person perspective via an onboard camera, fed wirelessly to video FPV goggles or a video monitor. So you can't take photos with the one I have, but I suppose you could use stills from the video but the quality would be poor. It’s pretty much for practice and fun only.
