Some always need to go beyond their present horizon, just to have a look. I can relate to that urge.
This image was created using Photoleap. With the exception of the Star Trek stock figures, all elements were taken from my own photos.
Aerial panorama of part of the Hunter River estuary at Stockton, Australia, just downstream from the Stockton Bridge (visible on the top horizon). The two shipwrecks are the Sylvan (L) and the 42 metre long Kate Tatham (R) stranded in 1924 and 1922 respectively.
The grass seeds have sprouted and it's time for human habitation.

I really appreciate your comments and faves. I'm not a hoarder of contacts, but enjoy real-life, honest people. You are much more likely to get my comments and faves in return if you fit the latter description. Just sayin. :oD

The original photo was of a sunset along the Sheboygan riverfront. Photoleap Tiny Planet component was used to create this image.
Multiple images captured and composed on an iPhone. The apps which have been used are mentioned in the tags.
Tiny Planet.
I made a few bitmaps this evening of which this is one.
It's a picture from last year of a lone tree which I have rotated to make a kind of Tiny Planet type shot.
I also worked out that I was creating the bitmaps wrong and shortening the wrong side of the image. Got there in the end.
1 x lone tree bitmap rotated 360 degrees with 2 repetitions.
I hope everyone is well and that your weekend is an enjoyable one.
Happy days.
The original photo was of the Chicago River from the window of a hotel room. Photoleap Tiny Planet component was used to create this image.

water earth fire air
i can scarcely remember
gushing down through my mother
onto the family bed
but the dirt of eviction
is still there
and the burning bodies of men
i have tried to love
through the southern blinds
narrow memories enter the room
i have had not counted on ice
nor clay nor the uncertain hiss
of an old flame water earth fire
it is always unexpected and
i wonder what is coming
after this whether it is air
or it is nothing

Noccalula Falls is a 90 foot tall waterfall in Gadsden, Alabama USA. The falls drop itself has been run successfully in whitewater kayaks on multiple occasions, beginning in late November 2011 when three expert kayakers ran the drop. The water level was unusually high, permitting a deep enough pool to form at the base of the falls. Local law enforcement has since issued citations to paddlers for running the falls, as the state does not consider this stretch a state-owned water bottom.
