Ex Blackburn Transport (new to Lothian) ECW bodied Leyland TL11 engined Olympians 48 (B748GSC) and 55 (B755GSC) now with Keighley & District as seen in the MyBus yard, and are both seen next to resident 989, S59VNM - a Volvo Olympian/Northern Counties and 973 (H143GGS) - a Leyland Olympian Northern Counties. Three Metro owned BMC MyBus are in view including ex First West Yorkshire 68634 YK06EHM - now 112. Wearing Urban Cool livery is ex Lancashire United Wright Renown bodied 209 (V209EBV).
This is a function i found in Picnik under Framing. Keighley & District Wright Renown bodied Volvo B10BLE Metro My-bus 210 (V210EBV), reflects in the puddles as seen in the newly acquired Timothy Taylors Yard. In the background is 557 (X557YUG).

I’ve been unable to find any period images of Timothy Taylor’s brewery drays so this fictional image incorporates more than a little artistic licence, including but not limited to the wooden casks. Keighley-based Timothy Taylor’s brewery can be seen from the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway as trains climb out of Keighley; and its products are firm favourites of visitors to that railway. Internet images suggest that the company currently runs a DAF CF rigid curtainside and two Scania R450s with curtainside trailers, although this information may not be up-to-date (-24).

As consumed on a very hot afternoon at the Avon Inn, Avonwick, South Devon. 4.3% classic English pale ale. Allegedly Madonna's favourite beer.
First brewed in 1952 as a bottled beer called Competition Ale. Changed name to Landlord in 1953, and also launched 4.3% abv cask version which went on to win CAMRA Supreme Champion four times

Keighley & District Metro My Bus Wright Renown bodied Volvo B10BLE 557 (X557YUG) is seen on Old Oxenhope Lane, in Marsh (near Oxenhope). This bus was new to Keighley & District, and was converted to My Bus in 2009. Since this photo was taken, this Oakbank School run has been operated with a BMC transferred from First West Yorkshire leaving 557 deployed on Ilkley Grammar School services.

From Left to Right is 1041 X441YUB new to Yorkshire Coastliner via Lancashire United & Harrogate & District, 542 T542AUA new to Keighley & District, 1039 W139XRO new to Sovereign (Stevenage) via Burnley & Pendle, 543 & 544 T543/4AUA both new to Keighley & District, 1129 R529TWR new to Keighley & District as 529 and transferred to Burnley & Pendle for a while. On the right is 1001 W616CWX which was new to Harrogate & District as 301, this also operated with Burnley & Pendle before operating with Keighley & District before conversion to My Bus.
It is admittedly not much of a photo but more an encapsulated 2D effigy of joy. This stuff is delightfully moreish, everything a grown man could want in a pint of beer. Just looking at it makes me happy.
The Timothy Taylor brewery is in Keighley (pronounced Keith-ly, somewhat inexplicably), West Yorkshire. They are well known for their high-quality ales - even Madonna claims she enjoys their most famous brew - Landlord.
Whilst Landlord is to be found in various parts of the UK - the bottled version is most toothsome - this is the bottom half of a pint of its lesser known brother, Golden Best. It is an excellent session beer - the second complements the first and calls for the third (ad vomitum). But importantly at 3.5% ABV, men of a certain age can manage a few lunchtime swifties without wanting to nod off shortly after.

Urban Cool 209 V209EBV (Lancashire's answer to My Bus), is on loan to cover whilst Bingley Ireland Bridge is closed. Both of these vehicles are ex Blackburn Transport though 204 was new to Ambassador Travel, Norfolk.

Ex Sovereign Northern Counties bodied Volvo Olympian's 983 S53VNM, 964 S64WNM & 986 S56WNM, stand alongside Ex West Yorkshire Road Car 1845, an ECW bodied Leyland Olympian now disgused as 385, B92SWX. These are now based in the Timothy Taylors Ingrow yard, doing the same duties daily.

At the Maypole Pub in Warley, we had some quality family time on Good Friday. Finest Timothy Taylor's ales for the grown-ups, pop for the kids and a round table family chat.
This photo captures our families doing their locust impression by devouring several packets of crisps. Well, mainly Will and his family. Mature Cheddar flavour, if memory serves.
My new ultrawide angle suits such group shots a treat. Except it has bizarrely given my darling spouse an elongated alien head. Sorry about that, love!
