Another of my favourite films .
The Time Machine – also known promotionally as H.G. Wells' The Time Machine – is a 1960 Metrocolor time travel science fiction film based on the 1895 novel of the same name by H. G. Wells in which a man from Victorian England constructs a time-travelling machine which he uses to travel to the future where a new civilisation has gone wrong after a nuclear war. The film stars Rod Taylor, Yvette Mimieux and Alan Young.
The film was produced and directed by George Pal , who had earlier made a film version of Wells' The War of the Worlds ( 1953 )

My "Evil Twin" came over to say goodbye. He says he's off on a long trip to Fiji and will be away until Movember ;o{) He wanted to play some cards but we couldn't find a pack so had a game of Double Rock Paper Scissors instead. I think he let me win every round, maybe he was still feeling guilty for.drugging me months ago. Either that our I'm more in tune with my twin than he is with me. Maybe it's the nicotine in his blood taking off his edge.

If I could travel in a time machine, I would doubtless come back to my childhood. Revive the pleasure of being a kid. I'd review all those that I don't know where they are now. Could run again by the street, behind a ball, with my old friends. Finally, I would revive everything again, enjoying each moment to the maximum.

As a personal COVID build I have dreamed of doing the time machine from Disney’s Meet the Robinsons. Taking around 20 hrs, the entire build is just less than 32 studs. Miniland is my favorite scale.
Got this at a scratch and dent sale for $200. Nope, not missing a zero. Couple of chipped places, but no dents and nothing some nail polish can't fill in ;)
I wasn't really looking for a track frame, but I couldn't very well pass this up.
We presented our Time Machine at Marinovators 2017, an annual showcase for young makers in Marin County.
Our Time Machine was created by the Maker Art class taught by Fabrice Florin and Edward Janne at the Lycée Français in Sausalito in winter 2017. Our 4th and 5th graders designed and built their own scenes from the past, present and future -- from the age of dinosaurs to the 50th century. This interactive art exhibit combines art, technology and storytelling -- using Arduino, motions, lights and sounds.
Many of our students and their parents were on hand to demonstrate this innovative after-school project to dozens of visitors of all ages. Everyone seemed to enjoy their experience, and it was a great opportunity for the kids to get the recognition they deserve. This innovative after-school project helps children develop their creative and collaborative skills -- and the confidence that they can help change the world.
We hosted this exhibit with Tam Makers, our makerspace in Mill Valley, where many of the artifacts for the Time Machine were fabricated, based on the children’s designs. We also invited visitors to make their own Tam Makers badges with LEDs, laser cut shapes, and color markers. They created some ingenious badges, and wore them proudly at the show.
It was a great way to celebrate art and science and encourage children to build a better world.
Marinovators took place on Saturday, April 22, from 10am to 3pm, at the College of Marin in Kentfield. Our Tam Makers booth was in Room #245 in the new Academic Center.

This year, we are creating a Time Machine at Pataphysical Studios, with a world-class team of of artists, makers, engineers and multimedia innovators.
This interactive art exhibit invites you to travel through time and meet characters from the past, present and future. We hope to intrigue, enchant and engage visitors in a playful experience that combines interactive art, multimedia theater and technology.
These first designs illustrate the experience we are creating. We will invite our guests to go through a short interactive ritual during their visit: walk around the exhibit, step into a magic portal, pick a time to visit, travel to that time, meet its characters and return back to the present.
This is the most complex art project we have ever created together. We are now working in teams to design and build different parts of the Time Machine, making interactive art with lights, sound and motion powered by Arduino and Raspberry Pi -- as well as producing short videos of the different times you will travel to.
We're all excited about our next collective art project and can’t wait to see what it will look like in a year!

We’re starting to create a time machine for our next art project at ‘Pataphysical Studios. Guests will be invited to step into our magic portal and travel to different time periods, which we will recreate as short scenes, through a variety of audio, video, maker art and mixed media. We’re now brainstorming and prototyping ideas for this interactive art project, which we plan to build collectively in coming years. If you liked the ‘Pataphysical Slot Machine, we hope this new piece will transport you even further. Fire in the hole!

Amid a glare of media interest, the first De Lorean cars left the Northern Ireland factory in December 1980. Sales in America were disappointingly low and the company collapsed.
The car consisted of a backbone chassis, stainless steel and plastic bodywork, gullwing doors and a V-6 engine in the rear. There was a choice of five speed manual or three speed automatic gearbox. The car featured many electrically operated fittings.
This examples is a faithful recreation of the car that starred in the 1985 Hollywood blockbuster film Back to the Future.
