Sian, a fellow Art Student, had somehow landed the job of housesitting this rather marvelous place. St.Anthony's Cottage was the home of Captain Scott, (not the Scott of The Cold Place, but the Scott who fought Zulu's and the like in hot places!) We spent a chilly March weekend there in 1984. How trusting were the owners??!! Luckily we were a fairly responsible, well behaved bunch. There was, of course, the matter of a number of strange "poltergeist" like incidents....but that's a long story.
