These buildings were in the Bairoa Alto on the road that eventually led into the nightclub area of Rato where we went dancing at Trumps and had cocktails at the bizarre emporium Pavilhao Chines.

All the materials used to build this mosque are from Morocco, except for chandelier crystals from Murano, Italy; Carrera marble for niche facing Mecca, and the elevator for the muezzin to climb the minaret (Italy).
Tile Work
The tile works at the stations are quite impressive. This is one of them at Shepperd-Yonge station. The platform walls are decorated with the small tiles.
