Exactly four years ago I've just had one of the most strong experience of all my travels. I hold a beautiful memory about Tigray and Afar regions, and I'm so sad, because nowadays Ethiopia faces a terrible war and humanitarian crisis, which concerns us a lot.

For centuries, young men and boys have climbed the steep mountainsides of Tigray, Northern Ethiopia, to reach ancient churches carved into the side of the jagged rock faces.
Believed to have been built over a thousand years ago, churches in these remote mountains have been a place of worship and study for Orthodox Christians in the region.

The Queen of Sheba was a wealthy queen thought to have lived somewhere in either Ethiopia. She is important to the holy texts of Islam, Christianity, and Judaism. She is most famous for her immense wealth and wisdom and for challenging the wisdom of King Solomon.
