While the lion may have been nicknamed "king of the jungle", I reckon the tiger is the king of the big cats. They have such beauty and presence - truly majestic. I photographed this male at London Zoo.
more recognisable to me anyway plaxton paramount bodied leyland tiger, i would still consider this a modern coach although its almost 30 years ago when it was new !

This exotic Mexican bulb is sometimes called peacock flower, an appropriate name in view of its quite startling colour combinations- all the shades of scarlet, orange, pink, yellow, mauve and white, usually with contrasting markings.
Exotisk medlem av irisfamiljen med svärdsliknande bladverk och iögonfallande 10 cm stora blommor i gult, rött, rosa och rent vitt,
This tiger resides at the Charles Paddock Zoo in Atascadero, CA. This tiger is fairly new to the zoo. Previously there were a brother and sister pair. The sister accidentally killed her brother (apparently playing) and then later she died during a surgery. This guy was very difficult to photograph through the bars, a large aperture and a long lens are needed. The light was bad, I used the pop-up flash on the camera. When I tried to use my external Canon flash it illuminated the bars.
Taken at Chester Zoo, UK.
Needed a bit of PP on this, as his head was partially in front of a bush with lots of twigs, which was very distracting.
