This fluffed up mourning dove is awaiting its turn at a platform feeder featuring safflower seeds. I know that cardinals, finches, chickadees, and downy woodpeckers are all fond of safflower seed. Now, I know that mourning doves love it, too.

I just made that up..:) This is a debris pile up after some high water and than someone put the face and eyes on it with rock..;) Than I ran it through Topaz and finished it off.
