cuttyman9: Ah, well maybe since I'm nearby I can be a tad more persistent. So the aw11 kit is a bolt on deal? I just kinda wanna know what I'm getting into haha. Also on the extended ball joint it's like that pic floating around for the AE86 that basically pushes the bottom pivot outward allowing for better wheel angle when turned in? I haven't looked into that as much just yet because right now with all the bumpy country roads I travel on I need the bump steer to be fixed lol

cuttyman9: From what I gather it requires drilling the spindle to run a straight bolt through it. I was hoping to have a tapered part to match the original bit or something of that sort
noritoy: The flip kit requires you to drill the spindle for the tie rod end. We are trying to get a ball joint option that doesn't require drilling. Currently the only option is to ream it and use a domestic moog part.
cuttyman9: Ah yeah that's what I found out. I wanna see if the sw20/AE86 uses a similar rack thread pitch cuz I found some spherical bearing ones for those cars that use an aggressively tapered top washer to locate it and then@just bolt it up at the bottom.
cuttyman9: I can accept opening it up slightly so that I can retain stock stuff if I broke something or whatever but enough to fit a big bolt.
