I didn't know Mr. Louis Mendes when I saw him in NYC subway, and unlikely he was noticed that I was taking the picture. A few months later I read an article about street photographers and realized that I took a picture of New York City icon!

In Eagle, Idaho there is a quaint little walking path along the Boise River. This year the water level is very high surrounding all the trees.
I lined myself up with the "V" of two trees crossing to create the starburst sunset effect. In the editing process, I do my best to balance light, mid tones and dark ranges. Giving this photo tonal balance.
