I've got a growing list of things that need my sewing attention ... just as soon as I sort out my sewing tin. It doesn't look so bad in this photo though, you should see the mess of tangled threads at the bottom of the tin.

This embroidery thread belonged to my grandmother. It was passed on to my father, and then to me. I'm looking forward to making some great embroidery with it.

I was asked to take a few photos for someone that they could have them framed and give them to their father for Father's Day.
Here is a borrowed baseball on a picnic table. A very simple light setup. This was taken at 3pm on a very sunny day.
Strobist:
Ambient sun: 1.5 stops down
SB28 - 1/4 power with 1/4 cto, bare to the left.
SB27 - 1/2 power bare, to the right
A little bit of Lightroom work. vignetting around the edges, but not too much. A bit of sharpening.
Not much work in Photoshop either. I did a 12% high pass contrast layer and that was it.
