This abstract image is not the serene depths of an underwater ice cave. It is just an extreme close-up of some crushed ice cubes in a glass of Coca Cola photographed (top down) with a 50mm lens and a 31mm extension tube. The glass was bottom lit with a small LED light and another LED light mounted on the camera’s shoe (top lit).

Developed with Darktable 4.8.0.

What if God was colour blind when he made the world, could it have looked like this? Apes and chimps see the same colours as us whilst the squirrel can only see blues and yellows. Dogs and cats were once thought to see only in black & white however, that distinction rests with a fish, the skate. Dogs and cats see fewer and weaker colours than ourselves as their view of the world is in pastel colours, similar to colour blindness in a human. If the world looked like this how would autumn look?

I took this photograph in New Jersey. A storm was forming, and I saw the face of the Devil in the clouds. I also could see where the rays of light are that there is a cross beside it. There is also a white dove flying towards the cross. It's interesting what one can see in the clouds if you take the time to examine them. I'm sure some dummy will think I used AI to produce this image or some sort of composite with Photoshop. But I didn't. This is 100% real. As you can see, the EXIF data it was taken with my phone. Processed with Snapseed. I also won't be making these little claims with every photo. I just want to let my following know that I will never use AI no matter how popular the trend becomes. The earth is mysterious enough. It doesn't need anything added to it. Go out there and look for the strangeness. I guarantee you'll encounter it sooner or later if you actually take the time to put in the effort to explore it. It's certainly more rewarding than sitting on a computer and typing in elements and objects to form an imaginary photo that doesn't exist. As you can see, I shot this with my cell phone. I didn't have my camera with me this day. Your best camera will always be what you have on hand. So go out there and shoot some real photos. Life is very interesting. Sitting on a computer having AI create images for you that isn't real isn't interesting and is dishonorable. Also, note that studies show too much sitting around increases your mortality rate.

Are there any Matrix (movie) fans out there? This abstract image reminds me of the tentacles of a hoard of Sentinels lying deep in Machine City. Also referred to as “squiddies”, these Sentinels are likely waiting to attack Neo (Keanu Reeves) when he returns.

This is actually a cheap necklace that I picked-up at an antique store that has four long metal strands in two different colors. I piled them into a lens cover and photographed them close-up with a 50mm lens mounted on a 21mm extension tube.
