Another one from my April first photo day. I really like how this turned out (with, yes, some editing in photoshop, god help me but I'm addicted). It reminds me of the refreshing smell of a rainwashed morning.

I was in a bit of a hilarious pose trying to get this shot, what. I drove into a small maintenance road once I spotted these plants (and the sun behind them), and there was a disowned mattress just sitting in the middle, perfect for me to stand on without crushing more plants. Except it was still springy. And wet from the rain the night before. Imagine trying to half-squat at the exactly the right height for your DOF to work -- on a trampoline.

...And then a truck full of construction workers drives past!

Please view it a wee bit bigger!

Smallest of the spiked dinosaurs, the Snowosaurus can be identified by it's single spike.

This one was spotted while it was extracting it's food from the snow. If you look close you can see the glass like tongue.

Commonly found on North Eastern coastal regions, they have been know to make short visits to southern climates.

This was taken by my 14yo daughter with her .7 megapixel iPod. I think it turned out neat. Do you see the bird?

This is straight out of her iPod with a little toning to add some contrast to the dull gray sky.

House cleaning day. Two boxes inadvertently smile at me, and I smile back.

An interesting exhibit at Namsangol Traditional Hanok Village, a very beautiful, interesting place. It's one of the places I would love to go back again next year!

This caught my eye because it looks like a wise old sage - I love that rock collecting has roots all the way back in our collective history!

After the sucess of Fig Face and Fig Face (with hat), I had to complete the set with this Cherry ass!

Whats the deal with me and freaky fruit!?

I think this piece of pork from my chow mein looks a little like New Jersey.

dropped my bike off for a fairly major overhaul, went across the street, noticed the serendipity of the tree here.

This boulder seat was very comfortable.

Mineral deposits on the concrete wall of a leaking parkade at UBC

We found a boulder along the stream at Bagby Hot Springs which was perfectly shaped for sitting.

It's always funny.

I quite often park next to this fence and it always feels as if there's something watching me - in an inquisitive rather than a bad way though.

Driftwood can get pretty intense in CA.

Tony and Emily rule.

The sun reflects in the shallow water.

I think this house, from the beach, looks like an old Western cartoon guy with a big mustache.

OK, OK - I know its not a fig, but it reads better than 'Date Face'. So gimme some artistic lisence!

If you like him, you may also want to see his bro or ass?

These two ferns with the dead leaf .. looks kind of like the Flying Spaghetti Monster, yes?

Dad says "Watch this will get high ratings on your book" I think he meant "web-site". Photo by Dad.

looks like a mini kangaroo...kinda.

Can you see the two men arguing?
