Day120: Something Old - while pulling photos from my camera for the prompt, I saw my photo for today. This is my mom's thimble that I inherited....I love it because it is worn thin in places, too small for my finger, and there is a tiny hole in the top where she poked through the silver. The photo on the computer screen is looking through the thimble and the tiny hole.

Thimble Island Cruise, Connecticut

Dating from 1600-1700 AD, this thimble is made from a copper alloy material, which has degraded over time, resulting in the green hue.
