I was at the Dollar Tree looking around, and happened to see a two-pack of large matches. I thought the boxes would be the perfect size for a bed for Amelia Thimble. I still need to make a little pillow and coverlet for her, but was anxious to photograph it. I gave Amelia one of my tiny Frozen Charlotte dolls for her first toy.

I LOVE Amelia Thimble.

A couple of mid-C20th advertising thimbles. Seen better days, but still charming. The one on the left says "Use Hudson's Soap", while the right-hand one says "Use Symington's Coffee".

A sweet mushroom thimble brooch with felted toadstools! Perfect for anyone who appreciates unisex woodland elf jewelry. This is an awesome botanical brooch to wear on your outfit - adding a whimsical touch! I like to wear them on my dress, sweater, purse, or even as a scarf clasp. I always get comments, compliments, and questions about them - a great conversation starter. ETSY SHOP

I've done so little photography over the last year that I'm out of touch with nature's calendar, which meant that I almsot forgot about Bluebell season. Thankfully, a new lens has given me a bit of motivation to get out and shoot again.

Oh how I love my little Thimble! Sometimes I'd like to have a second RP, I really like Popo, but I'm a bit scared that'll make Thimble less special :)

Thimble Hall? I'm pretty convinced that this is the ruin of Thimble Hall. According to local 19th century maps there was a building on this path of that name. Unfortunately I can't find out much else, although I think that the name is a working name as the village has a weaving background.

Update:

It appears that this was not a working structure but a house! From the 1901 census it was occupied by an Ann Bruce who was single and was a farmer. It states that she was neither an employer or worker, but had her own account. Finally it states that the building had two rooms with windows.

"Don't worry, Amelia, we'll find your shoe sooner or later."

"Thanks for helping me look, Amy. You're a great friend."

This car belonged to my dad. It stayed at my grandpa's house where it was played with by cousins and myself. The motor and bottom of the car are missing. Originally, it had a motor and a little race car driver.
