Welcome to the place where I shot many of my photos (landscape, macro, still life, birds, flowers, sunrise, sunset)
This is the perfect place for lazy photographers :-))

Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Have you ever dwelled upon what that actually means
Are we only talking about a dogs love
towards us humans
I hope not
I am not
I think unconditional love must go both ways
And of course not only in a dog human relationship.
Human to human relationship as well
When you meet that kind of person with whom you can feel the bond with
The bond you didn't think you would ever feel in this lifetime
What a blessed feeling
You can be the one you truly are
No pretending
With the flaws you have
With the scars from the lived life
Plain and simple
And be loved without questioning
And love back without questioning
We do mess it all up don't we, trying to adapt towards others, please others, instead of being true to ourselves.
We must evolve within, yes of course. We must take difficult choices, and we need to take them to get further in our growth.
To grow is to respect and love yourself.
If you don't respect and love yourself, who would than respect and love you truly and unconditionally
This is of course my belief, my thoughts. You may disagree all you want, I couldn't care.
I stand in my belief, it lays in my spine and for me this is the way.
I'm truly feeling blessed.
This image I'm posting is an image of that belief I have.
It may look like a dream, but dreams can come through, you never know.
Enjoy if you want, I'm happy to share.
Amen
I submit this image to Flickr Friday, "There is no place like home" - Unconditional love is a state of mind and in my eyes this should feel like a natural home, the place we all want to be 🙏
As well as my forest is my second home 💙
Rainy day. Calmly coexisting, for a change. I think the pillow there rather than its usual place against back of sofa may be good for their detente. (Added later to Happy Caturday 4/13/2019 “Rainy Days - past & present.”) (re-added to Happy Caturday 6 April 2024:, theme: “archive photo of cats I had when I joined the Happy Caturday group”. I joined in summer 2017, so happy to have done so and met you lovely people and cats. In this photo, showing their different sleeping styles: Pepper (R.I.P.) and Tikki (happily still with us despite her accident 5 days ago.))
Two blue tits, in my front garden in a snow storm, there is no place like home.

A home is a place where somebody is always waiting for me, a place where I feel protected and relaxed.

Have a great day and thank you very much for visiting!
A short walk in the afternoon for having at least some fresh air even the temperature was already in the minus...
Nevertheless it was a wonderful sunny day with a great sunset :-)
Submission to group FlickrFriday for theme There is No Place Like Home...
Most people wouldn't consider my home to be anything special nor terribly homely. But we like it and when I saw the shadows on the wall today, I knew I had found my shot for this week's Flickr Friday theme.
Walked into the city centre today along the canal. Bought myself a pretty silk blouse and a rather sweet double breasted blazer style coat :-)
Got a lot of snow today in Kent, England. First lot like this in 7 years. My mate Robin (and all wildlife) was finding hard to get food. I filled all our bird feeders up, and some. This Robin still prefers to take food out my hand though. The Robin has made our garden their home. Every time I go out in the back garden (yard) tit comes to greet me for its little snack :)
This is my first tryout with extension tubes. I used my trusted 50mm prime at the end of it. The flower petal is back lit with standard LED torch. I sprayed water on the petal to get some cool macro effects. The presence of this ant ... is sheer luck :)

Porto sempre con me un ricordo di casa mia.
Our 22-year-old white-faced cockatiel is quite comfortable spending most of his waking hours outside of his proper cage but my husband rearranges a selection of cardboard boxes on top of the cage (the Castle) which Birdie likes to explore and chew up. There are mirrors in many of them and Birdie believes the images are real birds. Each morning he goes the rounds and sings a greeting to each one. When he is ready for a nap he picks a spot and rests in front of one of the mirrors.

It's certainly not my home, but it was the summer home of Mr. and Mrs. William K. Vanderbilt. One of the "summer cottages" that line Newport, Rhode Island's Bellevue Avenue and Cliff Walk, Marble House was built between 1888 and 1892. Of its $11 million 1892 price tag , $7 million was spent on 500,000 cubic feet of marble.
