This portrait of Professor Hans Bethe is displayed in Los Alamos. In those days, he was the head of the Manhattan Project's theoretical group. He was a Noble Prize winning physicist who determined the nuclear source of the sun's energy. The sun is mainly composed of hydrogen nuclei. Hans Bethe identified the process by which the sun synthesizes the elements of ascending atomic numbers greater than that of hydrogen. He showed it was based on a catalytic cycle involving nuclear elements up through carbon nuclei. I was fortunate to have him review my work in later years.
After I received my Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics from M.I.T. in 1965, I worked for a company in a town near M.I.T.. The founder, Arthur Kantrowitz, was a Professor at Cornell, as was Hans Bethe. Hans came each month as a consultant. He reviewed significant work and gave his thoughts and recommendations. I presented work at Committee meetings for him to review. He was pleased with my group's results. I spoke with him again a few years later when he gave a lecture at The Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, Israel. His lecture was about the creation of the elements above hydrogen in the sun that are observed in the discrete spectral lines in the sun's continuous light spectrum. The nuclear creation process involves a catalytic nuclear cycle from hydrogen up through carbon. That was the work for which he had received the Nobel Prize in Physics years earlier. Needless to say, it was a wonderful presentation.
Afterwards, I went up to talk to him. I told him that I was struck with the similarities between his presentation and the work we were doing, that he had reviewed at AERL. He said “I was often struck by the very same thought.”
Needless to say, I was pleased, actually thrilled, that he had good memories of me.

There is much math for the above and it is boggling my mind as to a happy conclusion.

This analysis attempts to explain why light is limited in its flight through the demi-'vacuum' of the 'foam' of space at a precise set speed limit of "299,792,458 meters per second"* in the form of a 'three phase' answer (with end notes as comments), pulled from the shelf of common knowledge and sense as led by the key concepts in Science from which the explanation of the Universes perpetual operation and expansion as a process can be seen in the meta as one vast 'integrated circuit' writ large.

There MUST be a faster moving object to possibly conceptually cause motion beCause in order to see/be 'LIGHT' there must be a Newtonian CAUSE acting upon that which powers the quanta and photons, and electricity that is contained and travels that IS the 'light' in each and every instance over time and space.
The action of some phase of the gamma cycle 'spooling up' the energy needed which I believe is a release of Dark Matter combusted in a 2 cycle movement which I theorize act as the precursor and cause of what moves the PHOTONS to the ON position which enable us to observe the phenomenon that is 'the light', from any sun, bulb, or source according to Laws, equations notions and historical group (open) mind frame of reference of Newton/Einstein/Bethe/Hoyle. It is a process-- if one goes 'thought experimental' on each possible instance of light. It is a carbon and water fest with out whacking the photons with a FTL spark there is no light. I suspect the faster the FTL 'flash' the more action on the photon 'bang', and hence the brighter the light -- is in some bulbs/stars are brighter than others.

I was really thinking hard about where the intentional use of blur could make sense in a picture. Richard Feynman's 1975 Dodge Tradesman Maxivan, decorated with Feynman diagrams of particle interactions. Now on display at Fermilab as part of the display of Edward Tufte's sculptural work based on Feynman diagrams, part of Fermilab's Feynman Fest.
The equation at the top is Einstein's field equation of General Relativity (macrocosm).
The equation at the bottom is Schrödinger's wave function of Quantum Mechanics (microcosm).
Both equations stem from a wormhole which is accompanied by a black hole and singularity, which unites both worlds in very paradox ways.
There emerges a DNA double helix out of that black hole and represents what I would define as "complexogenesis", an interplay of entropy and emergent behavior.
The part of the formula inside the double helix is a part of Euler's identity; which combines two irrational and the imaginary number and are equivalent to the natural number (-1) in that constellation. This equation symbolizes unity, in my interpretation, as it fits two/three numbers together so smoothly, which is like finding the one puzzle piece that fits that infinitely unsmooth fractal-like other puzzle piece perfectly. It may represent the perfect fusion of the figure with the background...
At the end of that double helix are molecular formulas for the nucleotide bases adenine and thymine, which portrays the most complex form of complexity in means of some sort of "ordered disorder", a self-organizing system, so to speak. (macrocosm)
The other way the double helix ends in this picture is the particle tracks in a bubble chamber; (microcosm).
After all it portrays the overall conception of a system based primarily on loops, which relate to self-reference, self-replication, self-intereference and self-simplifcation.
This picture may be a perfect depiction of chaos theory being fundamental in nature's laws, and that fractals are indeed everywhere and the fundament of life itself.

The Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics building was designed by Montreal architect firm Saucier + Perrotte, which received a Governor General's Medal for Architecture for the design in May 2006. The building next to PI, housing the Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery, won the same award for its architects in 1997. Perimeter Institute's building features an open glass facade along the north and west sides, contrasting with the slate-black metal walls of much of the rest of the building. Each researcher's office, as well as various lounge areas, features a full-wall blackboard for working out and theorizing in solo or group efforts. Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics
Perimeter is a university building, but one without a campus or a building tradition to harmonize with. The first task, then, was to find appropriate symbols that link architecture to theoretical physics. According to Saucier, our perception of the striking south façade is designed to mimic the experience we might have when confronting esoteric scientific discourse. Ventilation grilles and window openings framed with mirrors punctuate the surface of black anodized aluminum panels, creating a façade whose image changes with different lighting and weather conditions. At first we might be baffled by the envelope's complexity, but then we can always "make an effort" to understand the design.
