I was excited to get this shot with the fresh snow on the hoodoo at Bryce. There was 4 ft of snow on the ground at the trail head. Slipped on my Katula spikes and dressed up - it was 17 degrees - and treked down the switch backs to just where I had imagined. there was great angular light on the formations until I got ready to shoot. Thena massive cloud pushed in a remained for the rest of the day! Nice but too much flat light. i was crushed.
Alric Bravin continues on to the beach, his eyes moving only enough to make sure that he didn't run into anything or anyone. Finally, his goal was in sight. The beach. The place he'd come so often after the change. He was well aware of the two bodies following him, but he didn't care. Let them follow. His feet hit the sand, his boots sinking in under his weight as he heads out towards the water.
Fallon Claymore pulled a phone from her pocket, felt the knife folded up, and the little needle, so carefully capped. She had a mind to thank Kat for that. Phone was flipped open, buttons pressed. A quick message sent as she rocked her daughters back and forth to the rhythm of the waves breaking on shore. She followed him. She wouldn't go in the water though. Fallon was afraid of water.
Kadence Foxclaw: followed along behind alric, silent as hte grave..she could mimic his stillness with ease. a hiss at Fallon as she'd pass the small woman, a glint of a fang..a threat...KAde was immune to msot poisons, toxins and conseuqnently drugs due to her unique blood makeup after the initial transformation and adjsutments to her system by Stephan
Alric Bravin doesn't go in the water, but merely stands at it's edge, his eyes staring out past the surf. "Why are you following me?" he asks, not bothering to turn around. There is no inflection to his voice. It is simply cold, and flat. He crosses his arms over his chest, and stands as still as stone.
Fallon Claymore thought of what Triana had said.. The loving way or the easy way. She kept out of his immediate reach. Her phone in her hand. Another message sent. One Read. Calling the only backup she knew. "Alric? Look at me." She'd say softly, almost pleading. If she didn't have her children, she'd be closer. She'd touch him. "Because I love you." She'd answer his question, hurt at his behavior but not yet willing to give up. "Do you want to do this now? Give in now with your daughters five feet away? Please..."
Kadence Foxclaw mimiced the stillness, whispering "because i need to..because i have to...because Jekyl or Hyde....i need you...i've given you my proposal..if you won't ahve me as i am....make me better...yo ucan do it...you told me how..." she'd hiss at Fallon "you know nothing you FOOLISH girl! cherish hte daughters but warship hte sons! Jaeger waits for his father...sleeps...like ALric...a eprfect blend...you...you fool....are useless....you cannot love only one side of him...you msut lvoe it all..udnerstand...cherish..." a nod "the sons..."
Triana Mills slows from her run to an abrupt stop at the edge of the dock. Her eyes were glimmering brightly with fury as she stared down at the group assembled, her scream a growl of inhuman emotion in the night air. "Kadence, step away from him!" It took all she had in her to not draw her guns and empty the clips into the woman. She lept down into the sand and took a few steps toward Alric, attempting to lock eyes with the man as she approached. "Alric, look at me."
Alric Bravin turns his head slightly when she mentions Lorelei and Isolde, his eyes resting on the scarf that held his children. There is a perceptible change in that stony expression, a slight softening. His brows furrow. ";Make...you...better?" He asks, turning to face Kadence, his pale eyes boring into her. "This is better?" He stops when he sees Triana, his eyes blinking slowly. He does as she bids, and looks, tilting his head very slightly.
Fallon Claymore said quietly, "I won't give in. I won't give him to you without a fight. I won't let him turn into a monster without trying to save him. Its because I love him. Whatever he is, I love him... Sons. Daughters. Neither should be loved less. Neither should be worshipped. You don't have a child. You have a farce. He told me what you did. How he hated it" The words were biting but true. Fallon didn't care. It was Kadence or Alric, and she could stand to say something hateful to bring him back for now. Triana's appearance made her weakneed with relief. She couldn't chance getting close to him with the babies. "Alric please. Please come back to me. To Lore and Issy. To Rose."
Kadence Foxclaw would glare at Trianna "so you can let his... useless... inconsequential midget be with him..Alric deserves better then her." eyes disgusted as they looked to Fallon. thena soft chuckle "who will she call to save her when her white knight turns on her.....you and i Trianna..are stronger then her..we fear little.."; she'd eye Alric ";i love you and you I...i wish to be able to share everything i can with you...i am broken alric...you let Jacob break me everywhere inside..outside....heart and soul..i'm already dead insdie...i died with JAeger...you know i did..if you stop loving me...i am nothing but a shell..."at Fallons words, thsoe emerald orbs turn to Alric "or have you already cast me aside for her ....have you left all thsoe years we had...what will you tell me my brother when he finds out you let Jacob get me...and then left me to be a shattered thing...." her body would shake., a hand reaching out for his arm, a look alric knew well enough...AKde was afraid...and it was a face he saw rarely "i am *broken alric....and you will let me fall into hte abysss to live your life with Fallon...it is a farce..and we both know it....your time of...normalcy is gone...wh ycan you not have me and it be enough"
Triana Mills takes another step forward, doing her best to block out the conversation, but she can't help but hear Kadence. She doesn't break eye contact with Alric as she speaks. "Bite your tongue, you wretch" She was on the brink of drawing her guns, and would likely do so if the woman continued. "I am NOTHING like you." Her eyes soften just slightly as she gazes at her Childe. "Alric, come here" Her voice is gentle, like that of a mother, filled with love and compassion. She wanted nothing from him. She hadn't even called him since the birth of the twins. She'd let him be to make his own decisions.
Alric Bravin looks down as her hand touches his arm. It felt foreign, strange, to have flesh contact, and it jarred him. He snarls, simply from the shock of the contact, before looking towards Triana. He couldn't help but move towards her, his eyes locking with hers. His brows furrow in a look of confusion as he steps towards her in an odd, shuffling gate, his feet sinking into the sand and covering his boots.
Fallon Claymore wanted to run. She wanted to take her children and run away from the ugliness. Instead, she turned and walked to the wall. "Triana, Mind where they are" Saying, If something happens to me, take them. And she lifted the sling her children slept in, and oh so gently, she set them in the sand, covered them carefully. Then she turned and moved towards him. Sure step. Face smooth. She didn't show hesitation, or fear though she felt both. Heart thumping in her chest when she reached for his arm. "Its not better to give in Love. Its easier. And what's easy and what's right are usually not the same thing." Kadence she ignored other than to say, "He didn't Allow anything to happen to you. He'd give his life to protect you. Jacob did it. I know because he got me too." She didn't elaborate, but her fingers would try to settle on Alric's arm. Her own words echoed, her heart left behind her with her daughters. What was easy and what was right. Because she didn't want to hurt him, she'd take the harder road. The dangerous road. Because she loved him. Because it was right. Oh god let them be safe. Let him come to her. Go to Triana. But not Kadence. Not the woman trying to make him a monster. She already thought he loved Kade more than her... More than their children. She was willing to accept that. But she wouldn't accept him turning into a monster. He was better than that. She let her hand drop if it didn't make contact... and part of her hoped it didn't. If she did, or not... She'd stand there, almost touching him, willing him to come back.

A FIANCO DI UN CAMPANILE NON SEMPRE C'E' UNA CHIESA.
Artenia è uno dei castelli longobardi che vengono ricordati da Paolo Diacono nella “Historia Longobardorum”.
Le sue origini sono antichissime: abitata già in epoca preistorica conobbe significativi insediamenti celtici e romani. Il nome stesso di Artegna, secondo alcuni storici, deriverebbe dal celtico “Ardun” (collina sull’acqua) mentre secondo altri avrebbe derivazione latina “Ara Thenae” (Altare di Diana).
Questa cittadina, situata a sinistra dell’ampia valle del Tagliamento, tra le pendici meridionali del monte Cuarnan e quelle occidentali del monte Faeit, si sviluppa attraverso “una figura a forma di cuore” come scrisse il Baldissera all’inizio del ‘900.
Il colle di San Martino che sovrasta l’abitato e domina la pianura friulana risulta insediato già in epoca romana e per la sua posizione si prestava ad essere un’antica postazione di vedetta della strada di origine romana diretta al Norico.

Thena is a member of the Eternals, a race of superhumans who bear a distinct but heretofore unclarified relation to the Greek pantheon of Olympus. The Eternals and the Olympians have a number of quite similar counterparts. While not exact matches the similarities in appearance, abilities, and even names are unmistakable. Thena's counterpart in Olympus is Athena.

Thena is a member of the race of superhumans known as the Eternals. As a result, she has superhuman strength, speed, stamina, durability, agility, and reflexes.
Thena also possesses the ability to manipulate cosmic energy to augment her life force, granting her virtual invulnerability and immortality, the ability to project cosmic energy from her eyes or hands in the form of heat, light, or concussive force and possibly other powers.

Born on courasaunt ( think I spelled it wrong :b) with no indication on who his parents were; he was adopted by Fer Okar. His adopted mother was murdered by a bounty hunter when he was 18. With no where to go he rented a osik apartment.
When he turned 20 he had a girlfriend named thena den, they both bought a better apartment and lived very happily. then when he turned 24 he signed up to volunteer as a clone trooper. He was given the name torch on his first battle on lethum because he was very skilled with grenades. After that he fought on kasshyk and lived a full life after he left the clone army and moved to mandolore with his soon to be wife thena. (died of natural causes.)

Strange LEGO Spaceship, complete with the smallest simplest escape pod!
The Domo is a big triangle, presumably the inspiration for pyramids of antiquity across the globe, #AncientAliens
Build was straight forward, it opens up very nicely, and I prefer the Deviants’ builds in this set. Plus, Kro gets a cool head printed piece!
On the negative, there are a ton of stickers (that’s not a biggie for me), and the mini figs.. All I see is helmet-less color-coded Power Rangers.

Em-Con 2022 in Nottingham gave me an opportunity to approach people dressed in fantastic outfits for my stranger project.
I saw Lucy chatting with a couple of friends and her outfit really stood out to me, so I went over and introduced the project to her and she agreed to being photographed immediately. Em-Con is held at the Motorpoint Arena and doesn’t really offer any decent backgrounds, but there was a display of Cameros from the Transformer movies outside and they had put up a large black gazebo with sides. This made for a perfect background. The sun was almost directly above and it provided some great rim lighting on Lucy. There was a tree next to us, and the light coming through its leaves gave Lucy’s hair a green cast, but this was easy to correct during the processing of the photograph. I think the black backdrop almost gives this image the feel of having been taken in a studio.
Lucy is from Nottingham and her character is Thena from the Eternals. Lucy said she appeals because she’s goddess like.
Lucy works in recruitment and told me it makes her feel like she’s recruiting her own band of superheroes.
When not working Lucy enjoys the cosplay scene, watching films, walking, going to the gym and listening to music from The Cure and The Smiths. Lucy also said she likes to draw, mainly doing character studies.
Lucy’s guilty pleasure is dressing up.
The single word Lucy would use to describe herself is flamboyant.
Lucy said the one thing she can’t live without is cheese.

While I was off of Flickr, Marvel announced their movies and TV shows for Phase 4, and it looks like it's going to be great! I decided to make a lot of figs for the movies/shows, accompanied by a brief description of my thoughts on the movie/show.
Black Widow: (Black Widow, Taskmaster, Red Guardian) To start Phase 4, we have Black Widow! Based on the descriptions of the revealed footage, the fight scenes sound like they will be amazing. Taskmaster's concept art also got revealed, and while it's not as good as Spider-Man PS4's, I really like how it looks. However, since the movie is set between Civil War and Infinity War, I wonder how they're going to tie Taskmaster into the universe. And we finally get to see Budapest! The figures I designed were my pre-existing Black Widow and Taskmaster, alongside an idea as to what David Harbour's Red Guardian could look like.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (Falcon, Winter Soldier, Zemo): The first of the Disney+ shows, and it looks great! So glad to see Zemo finally don the iconic mask. Hopefully, Falcon gets a cool new outfit for his Captain America attire. Agent 13 returning is a cool inclusion as well. The figures I designed were my pre-existing White Wolf, a custom Falcon Cap, and Zemo.
The Eternals (Thena, Ikaris): I have no idea who these guys are. Hopefully, this ends up being a GotG-esque situation where a relatively-unknown team becomes super popular. The leaked concept art looks great though! The figures I designed are Thena and Ikaris.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (Shang-Chi, Mandarin): Finally, the real Mandarin! Really wish we could have seen him in Iron Man 3, but better late than never. Another character that I don't know much about, but more MCU diversity is always a win! The figures are a semi-accurate/inspired by Shang-Chi and the Mandarin.
WandaVision (Scarlet Witch, Vision): God I hate this title so much. It sounds like a middle schooler's fan fiction title. Also, Vision is back which kinda renders the powerful Infinity War scene pointless? Should be a fun show nonetheless. The figs are the standard Age of Ultron Scarlet Witch and Vision.
Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness (Doctor Strange, Scarlet Witch, Nightmare): Apparently this is the MCU's first horror film? It's still PG-13 but is a "suspense thriller". And with Nightmare as the villain, the VFX should be incredible yet again. Also, Wanda is teaming up with Doctor Strange! I really hope it's about Doctor Strange teaching Wanda to really control her chaos magic into more than energy bolts. The figures are the normal Doctor Strange, Scarlet Witch, and a custom Nightmare.
Loki (Loki): I hate the logo. It's objectively terrible. But alternate 2012 Loki hopping around time to turn himself into humanity's god/ruler? Sounds incredibly fun to watch. The figure is an upgraded 2012 Loki.
What If...? (Captain America [Peggy Carter]): Definitely the show I'm looking forward to the most. The MCU's first animated media and I'm (probably foolishly) hoping it either follows Spiderverse's aesthetic or each episode has a unique style of animation (2D, 3D, classic comic, etc). The figure is a pretty simple Peggy Carter (Captain America), which is the plot behind the first episode.
Hawkeye (Hawkeye, Kate Bishop): I thought Jeremy Renner was done after Endgame, but apparently not! It's rumored that we're seeing more of Ronin which is going to be awesome to watch, and I can't wait to see Kate Bishop on the big screen. Hopefully, we can see Young Avengers in Phase 5! The figures are Civil War Hawkeye and an easy Kate Bishop.
Thor: Love and Thunder (Thor, Valkyrie, Thor (Jane Foster): Rounding out Phase 4 we have Thor: Love and Thunder! So glad to see Taika Waititi back directing! Hopefully, that means we get more Korg. Super surprised Natalie Portman is back as with Marvel as Mighty Thor, and I'm confused how they're going to explain her absence in Ragnarok. Other than that, there's not much we know about the movie at this time. Figures are IW Thor, Valkyrie, and a quick Jane Fos-Thor.

Sam and Logan rested as Vision healed their wounds.
"Something doesn't feel right," an unusually concerned Logan said.
"Well we did just get attacked by Dark Phoenix and thrown through a window, so no surprise there," Sam said, jokingly.
"I'm not joking Sam! Something's not right! I'm gonna go check it out."
Sam tried to stand up and stop him, but his pain halted him.
"Don't! Don't go out there alone!"
Logan tuned. "Sorry Sam. I'll keep my comm on and I'll tell you everything I see."
Sam nodded.
2 HOURS LATER
Logan walked through abandoned streets. They reeked of dead bodies. Just another ever present reminder of the chaos and tragedy the world had fallen into.
Logan was suddenly caught off guard by a deep, scratchy, and pained voice that called a simple, "Hey!" from one of the alleyways.
Logan approached him. As he got closer, he saw who it was.
It was Cannonball, an X-Men. He was missing all of his limbs except an arm, which he used to hold a bottle of beer.
"What happened to you, Samuel?"
"What do you think happened to me? Magneto acts like the Avengers are gone, but they're not! Plenty of them are alive. Or were..."
Logan debated telling him about the new Avengers. But instead of deciding, he prolonged their conversation to think more. "What happened, specifically?"
"Well its a long story. You see, Magneto wanted information on Project Eternal. It's an old S.H.I.E.L.D project investigating that big statue that appeared in the San Francisco Bay. They found out that it was a Celestial. Giant space robot gods. They put Eternals on Earth to help them give birth to a new Celestial. The Eternals over the past million years, decided they liked Earth and decided to stop the new Celestial, Tiamut, from being born."
Logan gave him a look of confusion and skepticism.
"I know you think I'm crazy, but Ikarus and Sersi, who are both Eternals, proved it. Well Magneto had us storm the base where the Eternals were supposedly hanging out…"
4 DAYS EARLIER…
Cannonball flew through a huge metal door. He landed on the other side and turned. Magneto, Storm, Scarlet Witch, Cyclops, and Beast entered.
"Spread out and find the Eternals. Kill them if you find them," commanded mighty Magneto.
The team split up. Cannonball ended up with Beast. They decided to check a long corridor. They had followed it for what felt like miles.
Beast was beginning to get concerned. "I think this is just some military bunker. There's no way literal demi-gods exist."
They looked up and were startled by a large metal wall that had seemingly appeared out of thin air.
"This isn't right. Long corridors in bases typically lead to large generators. This has to be trying to block something. Cannonball, break through."
Cannonball revved up his powers. He blasted off the ground. To their surprise, he didn't even hit the wall. He flew right through it. Beast, realizing it was a mere illusion, walked through it.
Cannonball sat up. The wall had disappeared. He noticed a small 12 year old girl with a teal costume with golden designs.
"Who are you?" Beast asked.
"I'm Sprite, and I'm an Eternal," said the young Sprite.
"So they are real!" Said a shocked Cannonball.
A few more Eternals came out. One with blue and yellow, named Ikaris, one with green and silver, Sersi, and one with purple and yellow, Kingo.
"We're the Eternals. And who are you?" Asked Sersi.
"We're the X-Men," replied Beast.
Ikarus immediately became angry. "X-Men? X-Men! You X-Men killed one of us! You killed the Avengers! You destroyed the world!" He flew at Cannonball knocking him down. He ripped off his arm and threw it. The other Eternals joined in on Ikaris' rampage. Sprite distracted Beast with a cage. Kingo shot lasers at him until Beast was on the ground, bleeding. The cage disappeared. Sersi shot some sort of beam and suddenly, the roof transformed into acid. The acid fell on Beast, melting him alive.
Cannonball was shaken by this. He couldn't even help. Ikaris had still been getting a brutal beat down on him.
"Ikaris!" Kingo called. "We don't have time for you to beat him. Just leave him alone. Gilgamesh and Thena ran into some more X-Men and need backup."
Ikaris nodded and then picked Cannonball up. He used eye lasers to cut his legs off then dropped him on the ground.
They all walked away as Cannonball was left crying on the ground.
PRESENT DAY
This story shocked Logan. "Then what happened?"
"I used my powers to fly away. After a while, I got tired and crash landed here. Managed to bandage myself up, though."
Logan really didn't know what to do with the man. "What do you want me to do?"
"Nothing. I told the X-Men your location. I used that story to stall. Doesn't make it not a true story, though"
