Set decoration on the Streets of America backlot section of the Studio.
In 1965, the park opened its "Serengeti Plain" animal habitat, the first of its kind to offer animals in a free-roaming environment. Size: 65 acres / 26 ha.
In the front, the parks herd of Eland 's (African Elen antelopes) - the habitat is home to Grévy's Zebras, Giraffes, White Rhinoceros, Impala antilopes, Ostrich and Marabou stork's.
Musa Isle was a Florida attraction based on the life of Seminole Indians (with alligator wrestling)!

Walt Disney World, Disney's Hollywood Studio - 12/24/09
This is obviously not an original photo, but rather a shot of a mural at the "One Man's Dream" show at DHS. The photo is very famous and hearkens to the very beginning of Walt Disney's career. Years ago there was a longer version of the film that is shown here that played at the Magic Kingdom called "The Disney Story", and it was a favorite. "One Man's Dream" is nice, but the longer version is the one that I think I prefer.
Many folks have snapped pix of this mural, I just wanted to give it my own interpretation, besides that, it really makes me smile. Hope ya'll like it.
