Tonight after work I came home and made a lovely dinner of taco salad, on which managed to eat this entire red peppers. I LOVE peppers. A lot. I am really over winter as I want to be out taking photographs of the world around me, but it's f**king cold and not fun. So, instead I am now realizing the routine that my life has become....up at 6 am or there about, get ready, eat breakfast, go to work, work all day, get off work and commute home, make dinner, do odd bits and bobs, go to bed...rinse and repeat. As Bjork said...there's more to life than this.
Voila! It's not completely done yet, but we're getting there. Today we finished painting the living room, cleaned the living room up and started some small projects in the rest of the house. We will get there yet. By the way, the photo doesn't do the space or color justice...I took it late at night, so it looks darker.
For Christmas my mum and dad got me a set of vintage pots and pans. They are adorable, but lack any sort of covering on the handles, so not too practical to cook with...so we made wall art.

Today after work I went grocery shopping and am proud to say I bought really healthy things. No, I didn't buy oranges, as they violate my texture laws, but I thought they looked pretty.
My mum gave me these books when I was a young girl. They are old fabulous copies of Shakespeare's plays. I have had them few years but never displayed them/ I am happy they are finally getting some good use. As well, our question as to what to do with the wine corks we've had for ages was solved.
Today after a long day of work, I went shopping and bought some fun new shirts and a few more things for work. Dressing up is not nearly as bad as I thought it would be, but I do love me some casual Fridays. I also love these shirts, even if they aren't really work appropriate (shows off my tattoo).
