So here's the story for the rest of you. I went out to Antelope Island the other night for the first time in months. I followed a two people all the way across the causeway, and into the same parking lot. We chatted for a minute, and then we went our separate ways. I shot the sunset and returned to the parking lot. They had returned at the same time, but things had changed since we went our separate ways.
Out on the rocks, overlooking The Great Salt Lake at sunset - he proposed. . She had a ring, and had accepted the proposal. When I discovered that this event had happened, I told them that I'd love to get them a print of the sunset that was happening while they were getting engaged. Nevermind the fact that I had my ISO set to 800. Gah. Oh well, I think they'll turn out ok.
So...please contact me.

Barbie had a great attorney so she was acquitted of all charges. He is sort of a box troll, his name is Butter. She knew that everyone disliked the guy not just because he was an attorney but he was a little stiff and greasy. She loved that he was rich and would just melt whenever she batted her eyes at him.

NOTE:
I did NOT set this up. I found this "romantic" scene "as is" in our backyard garden, though I had to wait half an hour for the sun to rise up enough to "back light" the orchid for "em-fa-sis!"
I'm a little slow these days, and it was only after taking some close up shots of the orchid and as I was backing up that the "proposal" idea came to me! D'uh! Hahaha!

Here's a view of Cornelius Falls from a little ways downstream. The waterfall is located in Heber Springs and appears to be between 40 and 50 feet tall. This perspective doesn't feature the top of the waterfall unlike another that I haven't posted yet. I wanted to give folks a feel for the lay of the land there and to share some Fall color in the foreground. This was from my second visit a few weekends ago. Found that it is not necessary to cross the creek above the fall to get down below as I had previously. It's nice to have another path available for times when it would be difficult to cross the creek.
