"God Himself, the Unique VIII God Is the Source of Life for All Things (II)" (Part Two)
www.holyspiritspeaks.org/videos/god-himself-the-unique-vi...
Introduction
Almighty God says, "The biggest difference between God and mankind is that God rules over all things and supplies all things. God is the source of everything, and mankind enjoys all things while God supplies them. That is to say, man enjoys all things when he accepts the life God bestows on all things. Mankind enjoys the results of God’s creation of all things, whereas God is the Master. Right? Then from the perspective of all things, what is the difference between God and mankind? God can see clearly the growth patterns of all things, and controls and dominates the growth patterns of all things. That is, all things are in God’s eyes and within His scope of inspection. … Hence God is God, and man is man! Even if man keeps researching science and the laws of all things, it is only within a limited range, whereas God controls everything. For man, that is infinite."

The MASTER is the sole Moscrop built tug that is still close to her original design and which still operates with her original steam engine, a Royal Navy World War 1 surplus engine built in 1916. While several of Moscrop’s hulls are still around, they have been heavily modified structurally and all have been re-engined. Moscrop went on to design and build a large number of outstanding wood hulled tugboats for coastal use. He also supervised the construction of the R.C.M.P.’s Arctic explorer, the ST. ROCH.
The MASTER’s original cost is believed to have been around $34,000. Captain Thorsen retained full ownership until 1927 when the Master Towing Company was incorporated and took title of the ship along with a mortgage for $23,000, back to Thorsen. This mortgage was transferred to the Home Oil Company in 1933.
First working for Fraser Mills and later chartered to the Lamb Logging Company, she put in general log and barge towing service from up coast to the mills in False Creek and elsewhere. In 1940, she was purchased by the Marpole Towing Company, joining her sister ship, the R.F.M. The stack was painted with the Marpole colours, black diamonds on a white band on an orange stack. Master wears these colours to this day. The black diamonds, which had been the insignia of the firm since shortly after the turn of the century, signified the towing of coal barges from Vancouver Island to the company’s plant in Coal Harbor, Vancouver.
In 1947, control of the Marpole Towing Company was assumed by Evans, Coleman and Evans – although actual title to the ship was not transferred until 1959. Around 1951, she had become part of the operations of the Gilley Bros. fleet, another subsidiary of Evans, Coleman but her Marpole colours remained unchanged. By 1959, the parent company decided to dispense with its old timers and tied up a clutch of them, including the MASTER, at the mouth of the Brunette River and left them.
Dilapidated and stripped, she was finally put up for sale or scrap, “Where is, as is”, in 1962. Here she was spotted by some members of the World Ship Society of Western Canada, a branch of an English based organization of ship-lovers. They decided to rescue and restore her as a tribute to the tugboat industry of British Columbia. For the full payment of $500, raised quickly among some members, the Society took over the MASTER on August 14, 1962.
Thousands of hours of volunteer labor, scrounged and donated materials, along with money raised by all sorts of means, resulted in the ship being cleaned up and repaired, equipment restored and replaced and steam being raised on April 23, 1963, the first time in several years. The Master now commenced a new career as the Society’s flagship, bringing to the public an awareness of the now vanished era of marine steam.

Sorry everyone: I've not been taking many pictures of any kind lately - lots of day-job stuffs, and extra-curricular semi-academic stuff (I'm giving a paper on character and narrative in the 'Uncharted' series. Seriously). Unfortunately, the conference is in just over a week, and I only got around to finishing the last game a few days ago.
However! I've been trying to get the Simm Consortium head project back on the boil (ahem), and having purchased some more resin, I've been trying to cast a head or two per night, if I can. I think I'm getting the hang of getting a decent cast without flaws. I think.
Man, I could really do with a holiday... :p

Evil has a night out.
Meanwhile, behind the bar Tom and Linh are having a hushed discussion...
"... we must really try to attract a better class of customer, Tom"
"Now, now, Linh - don't be too judgemental; we can't start barring folk on account of their colours, creed or thrashing tentacles."
"I know Tom... but..."
"Linh, no."
"... but... but...Jar Jar Binks for heavens sake! I mean, really? Jar Jar ****ing Binks? Surely we've got to draw the line somewhere, Tom?"
"I know Linh, but Toyville is an open and tolerant society; everyone's welcome..."
Linh sighs sadly. It's political correctness gone mad!
"... pssst...but don't worry, Linh, I slipped some rat poison into his beer while no one was looking!"
"Oh, you too, Tom?"

Today I had the wonderful fortune to meet a man who is the freakin' master of the bass guitar.
Specifically the ERB or 'Extended Range Bass'.
Man... I have never seen or heard the bass played like that.
After the show when we talked I told him...
'dude you looked like you had twenty fingers and four hands the way you were demolishing that bass.'
In a way he reminded me of Willie Pickens.
And I told him that.
'You know Willie Pickens' I asked him.
'Yeah... me and Willie play together.'
Whenever I see Willie Pickens play on his piano I am blown away and reminded about how well Mr. Steinway puts a piano together.
Because Willie's like am eruptin' volcano on the ivories.
I'm always expectin' that piano to burst into pieces and I like to think one day it will and I will be there shootin' it.
He knew where the analogy came from and he accepted it as a compliment.
You're gonna see some nice closeups of this guy.
I'm still in awe of his performance today.
This guy's an American icon, a master of the bass guitar, a true artist and the creator of 'Speed Funk' and Viewminder's gonna introduce you to him.
Its 2AM, I'm gonna make this short. :)
Taken off of Mulholland Drive. The very end of the Griffith Park fire. 05/09/07. About 12AM. You can see Hollywood on the right and The Observatory in the Middle.
UPDATE: Won First place in 'Themed Weekly Contests', 150th: Danger
Got me a new Doctor Who companion this morning; Bessie! Well, the Remco Flying Dutchman car from the 1960's anyhow - almost 1:6 and sadly the way it's constructed means figures won't fit in the front seats.
Fingers crossed one day we might see some official 1:6 figures from the Pertwee era.
For now though I'll have to make do with my custom versions; the Doctor and the Master heads were sculpted by Russ Lukich while the Brig is the work of Warriors Gate Productions.

Britannia Heritage Shipyards
(Steveston) Richmond, BC Canada
The Britannia Shipyards are in Steveston, a small area at the mouth of the Fraser River, in the southwest corner of Richmond, British Columbia. In the late 1800s, Steveston became the largest fishing town on B.C.’s coast and boasted the most canneries in the British Empire.
Immigrants from around the world heard of the jobs available in Steveston. The city quickly became one of the more multicultural places in Canada. European, Chinese, First Nations and Japanese people all gravitated to its fishing industry.
The Britannia Shipyard was designated a National Historic Site in 1991 by the National Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada. The 3.3-hectare park located along the Steveston Channel of the Fraser River consists of a community of workshops and dwellings that served the shore-based salmon fishery during its boom years from 1890 to 1913. Built over water, the shipyard is part of Steveston’s Cannery Row extending from Garry Point and the Gulf of Georgia Cannery to London Heritage Farm. Many of the buildings on the site were built in 1885.
The property includes the Britannia Shipyard and two boatworks operated by Japanese-Canadians. Labourers and craftsmen of Chinese, European, First Nations and Japanese descent lived in houses on site, and worked in salmon canneries, on the fishing boats, and in the boatworks.

A year into our new home and old treasures still materialize as we go through boxes! I don't remember where or when I bought these Whovian mice but the Master seems a tad irritated that he's lost an ear along the way.He is not a happy Time Lord and is threatening doom & gloom to all in his path! What else is new? :D

The Boys and I were getting ourselves ready for The Masters Tournement, the first of the four majors in professional golf which will be held as always at The Augusta National Club in Georgia, and we have less than a month to prepare for this event.⛳️
So Hoof was up on the roof lashing up a dustbin lid to act as a satellite dish to pick up the TV coverage, Horace and I were checking that the drinks cabinet was well stocked in anticipation of Rory Mcllroy winning the tournament which would give him a grand slam of majors.
As Horace is one of these pigs that likes to keep himself busy he said he would walk up to the village shop and buy some more of his favourite tipple.
On route he popped into the churchyard to check out the crocuses. The church yard is always a place to see these beautiful spring time flowers and people come from miles around to view and enjoy them. What could possibly go wrong. 🌷🌷
Horace had not long been in the church yard and the vicar appeared, Horace and the Vicar have struck up a real bond.
H and the Vicar were soon engaged in a meaningful conversation where the vicar mentioned to H that the regular lady driver of the village mini bus 109 year old Miss Trebogus had been out on her hen night with many of her elderly sisters when she unexpectedly fell over, the result of which she is in hospital undergoing a quadruple hip replacement.
So the Vicar asked H if he would drive the mini bus for the Woman’s institute annual outing.🎉🎉🎉🍷🍷🍷🎸💃
H thought about this request for a moment and replied “look I have only ever driven a motorbike, it may be that I find your long wheelbase Transit mini bus a bit big for me to handle. I will do you a deal, what if I traded in my motorbike and got another vehicle”.🚌
The vicar was all ears at this, what have you got in mind Horace, H said tell you what I could do, trade the motorbike in and get a Pig-Up, I could transport the ladies around in the back of it.💃💃💃💃💃🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🐷
I will leave you with this thought,
A clear conscience is the sure sign of a bad memory😜
Thank you all for viewing my photos, your comments are so appreciated, have a good week🐎🐷😎😜🍺🍺🍺😂😂😂

Still haven't got myself entirely sorted, but the urge to make junk is still there...
I made a new mould for the Simm master sculpt (as I broke the neck post in the previous one). Also sort of finished Drake 3.0 (though he is as-yet hairless). I didn't really notice it with the cast of 2.0, but to me it looks like 3.0's nose has lost some of its volume in the bridge. Ah well; we'll see.
As for Simm - he's looking pretty good, I think. I was going to do some painting tonight, but alas, I've got day job homework in preparation for a Big Trip next week (Punz is coming with, naturally). Watch this space.
