Millwall Inner Dock, with it's renowned floating Chinese Restaurant, The Lotus, which I still have not had the pleasure of..maybe because my better half doesn't much like Chinese food…damnit! ;-)
The lioness goddess, Sekhmet, was the wife of Ptah, god of the city of Memphis, and the mother of the god of thelotus, Nefertum.
These three deities formed the famous triad of Memphis.
Sekhmet was first mentioned in the Pyramid Texts, and was linked with several other goddesses, such as Bastet, Hathor, and Mut. The name Sekhmet is probably derived from the word sekhem meaning epowerful or strong.
Sekhmet was the goddess of war and medicine, and as the Eye of Re, she personified the fierce heat of the sun. She was also the protector of the major gods of the underworld, such as Re and Osiris, when she was associated with the goddess called Lady of Flame.

#2 Hot Vietnamese tea
One of the great pleasures in life for me is hot tea....freshly brewed...just for me. Aaaaah. When I order hot tea at the Lotus, I am brought my own tea pot and my own wonderful little tea cup with the most aromatic Vietamese blend of tea brewing within, allowing the most wonderful scent to escape. When I pour that first cup, the wonderful aroma fills my head. And when I take that first sip of warm tea, the aromas and taste just washes over me in a way I can't explain..........Sipping hot tea, while eating Vietnamese food, and talking with friends...pouring cup after cup....aaaahhhh....does not get much better.

The Lotus

Panama City, FL
Originally named the Lotus, it opened in 1923. At it's opening, it was proclaimed Wyoming's wonder picture palace. In the early 1930's it was renamed the Fox-Lotus and the art deco front was added. The theater was given a modernistic post-depression look in the early 1940's and was renamed the WYO.
Today the theater is still in use, but it is the home to live entertainment and the performing arts.
