Little Mermaid statue in Copenhagen. Some people say this is a very underwhelming attraction to visit, but I think it is quite charming.

I've overpainted the teeth deliberately so I can do the lips, though still trying to get all the eye paint off... Not quite sure what I'm doing or how she'll turn out!

Used nail polish remover to take off face paint and removed the jewel/glitter bow from her top

As someone that grew up on the animated classics, I do prefer when the live action remakes stay true to the originals in many ways, however with TLM, I fully embrace Disney switching things up and casting a black girl to play Ariel. Yes, she had a distinctive look that we all remember, but Ariel’s race was never an integral part of the story. On top of that, she is a mythical creature, so she can be any race. Halle can sing amazingly and is beautiful! Sounds great to me & I am sure she will do a fab job. As long as the cast have amazing chemistry + the story and visuals are amazing, i’ll be happy. Please do share your opinions, but let’s be kind and respectful. #TheLittleMermaid #Disney #Art

I always wanted to do a mermaid palace build... I really like the concept disney had for Atlantica but if I could make it less.. random and unexplained and more inspired by coral covered gothic architecture with an actual castle layout... that would be great... the small drawing of the gothic architecture on the side is perfect!! somewhere between a palace and a cathedral
