37:52 On my street
This was a very hard theme for me. I live on a very short cul-de-sac street and nothing happens here. Probably the most entertaining thing is me trespassing in the neighbours' yards to photograph their flowers.
So Otis and Fleur to the rescue. They haven't been on Flickr for quite some time, and were getting restless, and also, not getting along very well. So I got my orange garbage bag out, as it was raining, and took the arguing couple out with their car, laid down in the middle of the street and placed them on a water filled manhole (why do they call them that?) cover. They couldn't get the car started, so of course, there was another fight. Otis got out and pushed the car while Fleur impatiently waited.
As I was working on this image, the song "That Love" by The Kills came on, and I thought it was perfect for the shot.

If you are new to my stream, you may not be familiar with this couple. I have an Otis and Fleur album if you're interested :)
I have never seen a Kingfisher catch such a large fish i think it must of said its name was pike 😀📷 we didn't see it eaten but this male was an expert fisher.
Widespread resident, except in parts of NW India. Adult paler than Eurasian Sparrowhawk. Underwing pale with fine barrings on regimes and slightly darker wingtips. Male has pale blue-grey underparts with contrasting dark grey primaries, indistinct grey gular stripe, fine brownish-orange barring on underparts, unbarred white thighs, and unbarred or slightly barred central tail feathers. Male has yellow eyes and the female orange.
This bird attacked and killed a pigeon (seen on the ground), equivalent to its size, in front of my eyes this early morning and was having a hard time flying with it. Instead it started to de-feather and eat it, not heeding my presence!
Nikon D850, 500mm f/4e lens, f/5.6, 1/50s, ISO 400.
Thanks to all of you who fave and comment on the photograph.

Jared Leto described the meaning of the song as, "It's really about a relationship with yourself. It's about confronting your fear and confronting the truth about who you are." He has also said it is about "confrontation as a crossroads" — coming face-to-face with who you really are.
You tell me i should run
But then you tell me you need me
A lot of places to hide so there’s no way you can see me
I wanna swallow my pride
But I choke on my own words
You wanna show me you love me but forget how to reach me
Tell me what you wanna know
And I’ll tell you everything inside
I’ll tell you that you were the one for me
Don’t try to kill me with your love, don’t kill me with your love
What i don’t understand is why I’m here on my own
We were only just talking in the silence of your home
I know you better than yourself honey only i know
I follow you in the night like a dog with the scent of your cologne
Tell me what you wanna know
And I’ll tell you everything inside
I’ll tell you that you were the one for me
Don’t try to kill me with your love, don’t kill me with your love
I’ve been waiting my whole life for someone who makes me feel like you do
It’s complicated, i can’t lie to you
I’ve been waiting my whole life for someone who makes me feel like you do
It’s complicated, I can’t lie to you
I’ve been waiting my whole life for someone who makes me feel like you do
It’s complicated, i can’t lie to you
I’ve been waiting my whole life for someone who makes me feel like you do
It’s complicated, I can’t lie to you

For Macro Mondays theme - Crime
The Killing (Danish: Forbrydelsen "The Crime") is a Danish police procedural three-series-long television drama created by Søren Sveistrup and produced by DR in co-production with ZDF Enterprises. It was first broadcast on the Danish national television channel DR1 on 7 January 2007, and has since been transmitted in many other countries worldwide.
The series is set in Copenhagen and revolves around Detective Inspector Sarah Lund (Sofie Gråbøl). Each series follows a murder case day-by-day. Each fifty-minute episode covers twenty-four hours of the investigation. The series is noted for its plot twists, season-long storylines, dark tone and for giving equal emphasis to the stories of the murdered victim's family and the effect in political circles alongside the police investigation. It has also been singled out for the photography of its Danish setting, and for the acting ability of its cast.
