Woman in Philly

The back of a grave stone taken with a 100mm Macro lens and enhanced by increasing the contrast.

I think it turned out okay albeit that it could be a little too abstract. I like the texture of the photo - it makes you want to touch the rough coarse surface to feel the grit on your fingers.

Notice the texture of the dark wet sand on the top of the picture because of the low tide. Plus the effetc of the wind over the stream... it makes a cool odd image, isn't it?

Abstraction

This is the same flock of sandpipers as in my previous post just before a falcon dove on them caused them to take flight. Several acres of beach were carpeted with sleeping sandpipers before the falcon interrupted their nap. The falcon swept through the huge flock and snagged two in one pass. When it flew off they all landed back on their patch of beach and gradually settled down.

I don't know what they put in the water in China but who ever drinks it tends to multiply. For real.

It also feels that it's the same outside of the water as we're in Yu Garden, the only laid back place I know Shanghai has to offer, meaning that I also feel like one of those fishes almost getting pushed in the water as a group passed behind and as I'm trying to connect with my new chinese fish friends.

I'm trying to keep my mind occupied today. My parents flew this morning to Mexico because my uncles dad died two days ago. Also, my moms sister is sick with cancer, so they want to see them and offer them support. So me and my sister stayed home. It's tough that they had to fly on the day when my brother died two years ago. I'm feeling extra anxious for them and their safety. I feel like once again things are overwhelming me and I don't want to think so much. I have a fever and I couldn't sleep all night. So here is a texture for you guys.

If you use, please don't commercially redistribute or claim as your own. And also please incoporate it in to your artwork changine it somehow.
