Peat land Autumn colours & textures on a rural road trackway. The trackway was originally a railway line to supply the now demolished ESB power station in Allenwood. while the road now deviates left the rail line originally went straight.

These algae exposed in a shallow rock pool at The Caves, Bunurong National Park show how different forms of life survive in the intertidal zone. One is Hormosira - Neptune's Necklace brown algae, the other I don't know

Back to another macro, We have loads of this growing in our garden, it`s an attraction for wildlife in many forms.

Looking in close up at the small open flowers reveals the wonderful textures and shapes of a Lavender flower,possibly getting past it`s best now.
