This is where I store my art supplies. Above are the dyes and chemicals for dyeing fabrics. Below are general art supplies and some fabric in the right-hand drawers. I love having things more organized, and I need to get them organized even a bit better. ;)

still working on some motifs for the 'listen to the river' quilt. these white thread beads look like pearls.

Detail, Torah Ark curtain, Wohl Synagogue, National Library of Israel (Itamar Sagi, 2024). Most of these "drops" of fabric, made of many different textile varieties, were previously used as clothing items, bedding materials, or upholstery.

Set and lighting design for both a theatrical set and an installation.

 

Floor plan and production images for a show composed of four individual student written plays. A single raked stage effectively "quintupled" as the backdrop for an AP classroom, a graveyard, a house party, a rap cipher, and the set of the Bachelorette. I utilized elevations to encourage actors and audiences to experiment with new methods of movement and interactions. In addition to creating visual excitement, the triple-tiered stage also eliminated the need to introduce excessive furniture into a limited space.

The softness and warmth of the textile cysts on the arch functions as a foil to the sternness of the surrounding structures and, with their infectious growth, infuses the space with a viscerally corporeal anxiety.
