Artwork inspired by STING, One of my favorite singers.
If blood will flow when flesh and steel are one
Drying in the colour of the evening sun
Tomorrow’s rain will wash the stains away
But something in our minds will always stay
Perhaps this final act was meant
To clinch a lifetime’s argument
That nothing comes from violence and nothing ever could
For all those born beneath an angry star
Lest we forget how fragile we are
On and on the rain will fall
Like tears from a star like tears from a star
On and on the rain will say
How fragile we are how fragile we are
On and on the rain will fall
Like tears from a star like tears from a star
On and on the rain will say
How fragile we are how fragile we are
How fragile we are how fragile we are
Since we are fragile… Let the COLOURS Rule your HEART- ART…

A textile swatch for the ladies' drapery department of the department store Mawer and Collingham. Swatches of fabric have been cut with pinking shears and attached to the catalogue. Fabrics shown include cambric, cotton crepe, oxford shirting, flannel and crepe laine.
Company history
In 1900, Mawer & Collingham was incorporated as a private limited company, becoming Mawer & Collingham Ltd. Joseph Mawer Collingham, previously sole proprietor of Mawer & Collingham, became managing director and company secretary, a position he was to hold until his death in 1902. His sons, William, Cyril and Horace, and Mr. S. Graveley, previously a buyer, became directors. By the time of its incorporation, the company's trade had diversified to include wholesale and retail drapers, silk mercers, haberdashers, milliners, dressmakers, tailors, hatters, furriers, lacemen, clothiers, hosiers, glovers and general outfitters, carpet warehousemen, upholsterers and house furnishers and decorators.

I have never seen this quilt in all of my life. My mom has kept it in a cedar chest all these years and unveiled it to me as a present last week. It was made by my great Granny over 100 years ago and is in perfect condition. Being a jacquard and print designer by trade, man I was blown away. It is just so cool because of the history and age but also the craftsmanship of the quilt. Thanks mom!!
dear friends, i'm happy to announce that my fave Ukranian t-shirt brand is now selling a tee with my Little Red Riding Hood design. if you want one, please get it here, sektashop.com/en/fairy-tales/629-oh-ure-killing-me.html
When young, a man may wish to carry his beloved woman... To feel her body, with it's weight.. warmth.. LIFE. To feel the belonging to one another, with it's significance.
Some grow older still may wish to do so...
As the years goes by, and the weight might change, as well as the body, or the emotions... The task might be different... Perhaps more difficult to carry. Perhaps deeper in EMOTIONS.
In this painting, I wish to deal not only with the physical aspect of what is seen here..
But far more behind the thought...
The ability to carry each other, as one is... With it's FULL MEANING.
May you be able to see the light in your life and those that are real in your world... and even more to appreciate it.
With love,
Happy Valentine's day!

I painted three flowers, using water color techinque while painting with guache. I then uploaded these three motifs into photoshop and created this all over design.
Sea turtles and jellyfish. Animals of the Ocean. Australian Aboriginal art. Point art. Blue and green, glowing grunge background.
