I was lucky enough around 1990 to create fabric for one of the then top NZ fashion designers. It was fun as it was over the top design and not something you would usually produce. Sadly the best fabric I created, I don't have a photo of, which was luscious contemporary red rose design on deep blue background, heavily accented with gold textile paint. Amazing to do! It was silk dyes painted on silk fabric.
I just finished directing Pratt Summer Design '08. Lots of great projects with three classes offered: Architecture, graphic and textile design. The kid's had a great time.
