draw-string bag: Nomadic Desire was made with Merino wool blends, silk paper and bamboo fibers

It is amazing to think that the amount of wool in this outfit is around 500 grams including the head wrap and the arm pulse warmers! Each item is reversible too, so it is very versatile to wear!

 

I was quite satisfied with how the light weight cotton felted. The slightly heavier cotton made a more puckered effect than the lighter weight one did.

Paper doll old as the devil (the photo too, scanned). But very dear to me... maybe because it's the first I've made and all the others were gifts for other people or made to order.

Well...

We were all very excited to see if this large nuno felt would dye like we had hoped and I think the result was better than what we hoped for! I hope that Penny will keep felting and make more beautiful artwork in the future!
