A Skirlaugh attacker is brought crashing to the ground by a perfect West Hull tackle. Hosts West's 26-12 derby victory, by five tries to two, at Walter Simpson Park, part of the North Road Community Sports Centre, in amateur rugby league's National Conference League Premier Division was their sixth on the trot in all competitions. West Hull ARLFC have been based at this venue for the last eight years.
Cleaning out for more space: 12 old textbooks taken apart, neatly stacked, on its way to the recycling blue bin. Hardcover casings on the left, book leaves on the right. That's approx. $1000 worth of books but there isn't much you can do about it when you need space and thrift stores won't take them. And besides, if I ever become interested in the material again, there's always Google, book sites like scribd.com and of course, the university libraries.

We got new editions of the textbook... last year? This is the second year using them, I suppose. At any rate, they're not quite as facepalmworthy as the old ones, but there's still a couple of classic moments.
