I found this book today on the stairs in my doc's surgery!! It was there when I arrived, and still there when I left an hour later. So I gathered it was abandoned & took it home with me! I'll let you know if it's good! :)

Construction work on new blocks of flats in the marina started early in the summer 2014 ......... and thousands of our resident starlings disappeared. I thought it was because the construction team had taken over Weatherspoons, the building on the left of this image, which the starlings roost under.
I've since learnt that they migrate to warmer climates in February or March for the summer months and return in October. They're a lovely example of birds adapting their habits to address changes bought about by man.
This image was taken in March this year just before they migrated. And now it's October 2015 and they're back in their thousands. Weather permitting they can be seen flying down to line up on top of the cranes. Then they murmur around the skies for a while and all head for the same old roosting spot under Weatherspoons.

Os dejo los pasos del procesado de esta foto. Quiero recalcar que SON EXACTAMENTE LOS DE ESTA FOTO EN CONCRETO. Cada una de las fotos de la serie Urban stories está realizada básicamente con los pasos que indico si bien cada una varía sus valores en función de las luces propias, motivo, tonos.. etc.
Espero que pueda servir a los/las compañeros/as que se han interesado por la edición.

she wanted vintage school and office supplies and she specifically mentioned her glasses. she thinks they are "school marm" glasses but i think they are just cool.
these are most of my text fabrics folded and organized by color. i didn't realize i had so much pink. :)
Needed a diversion tonight... so tried a poster experiment... Layer work, texturing and paint effects applied in Photoshop. Began with a model face from Google. Added 2 elements from Mischief Circus. Then tried some grunge work, brush effects and texting.
The store has been closed for several years now,but the sign keeps hanging' around! Texarkana,Arkansas. 7.3.2016.
