My cousin found this very amusing: A two-wheeled dolly cart, tethered to the railing with a bike lock. Considering the level of rust and dirt on it, she could not fathom why anyone would want to steal it, and therefore why was it locked up? I explained that some damn teenagers might want to go joyriding. She didn't buy it.

Next we anchor the kite by attaching it to our ground tether. A ground anchor that screws into the ground.
Finally got iPhone tethering working on my EeePC. Through bluetooth no less. Ping isn't fantastic, but it's super portable.
