OK, so I'm a terrible person. I received my crane in early April. I still haven't submitted my photo to the project. This is not it, I just needed a nice test subject for my first attempt at using a light tent. This weekend I built the quickest, crappiest light tent ever. I used the skeleton of a box from a fancy trashcan we got as a wedding present and covered the sides with wax paper. Here is the result. I had to adjust levels and use a little selective coloring to get it white. I was using a lamp for the light source, which rendered the scene yellowy. I can't wait to get a job. My lust for lenses and other camera related things has been growing for the past year. Plus, we need food.
Sorry, Liz. I'll get to work with my crane.
Under the new cathedral in Viborg the crypt from the 11th century was still intact - and open for visitors. I'm not sure, though, if my son was actually allowed to test the size of this medieval sarcophagus...

No, not Gemma stripping, but a medium format test strip for a silly print we did of her from our first messabout on HP5 120 film with our Yashica MAT124 camera.
I can't remember which one we decided on. We have since chosen one of the exposures and Gemma now has it stuck on her door. However - I think this test strip looks pretty neat. (Still trying to get her to agree.)

It's new, and no one really likes anything out of the ordinary-at first-, but i really think this is a start for editing online.. FASTER! i mean i just tried it out thinking "it will never work" and poof it popped up in a second! I'll post the original that i edited in photoshop cs5 below.
There is no indication in the manual of how to thread the filament through the machine. There are some holes on the top surface of the main body that look like they could do the job. After passing through the hole, the filament can be clamped inside the cold extrusion head by pressing down on the side lever, inserting the filament, and releasing the lever.

First test with Leica C3 zoom camera. It is a very beautiful camera, solid built, quiet to use.
Lens is quite sharp.
Recent events made me interested in using flash/strobes more. I just have an SB-600 right now.
Strobist info: SB-600 with Sto-fen at 1/64 power(I think) at right side.
Lesson learned: bare flash has terribly limited capability. I need to invest on a better setup!
I have a group (band) photoshoot in September. Can anybody suggest some gear? Cheap umbrellas? Alienbees strobes with softbox?
