I have no idea what is tested at DC Testing. The will to live, perhaps.

A famous test conducted by Albert Bandura where children were divided into different groups to watch a video of an adult exhibiting violent behavior of a bobo doll. there were different oputcomes of the video and the children who saw the adult actor get scolded for acting agressively toward the bobo doll were less likely to act agressively toward it when they were placed in a room filled with bobo dolls. this demonstrates that behavior and gratification can be learned and that peopole are going to be less likely to participate in something that has a negative outcome.

uggg........still blurry! This is a test with my new Canon.....

Testing my friend's newly bought D3100 with the kit lens. This is my first experience of using both camera and the lens. The camera body feels smaller than my D5100 and lighter, but it is not too much of difference.

My first experience with Nikkor 18-55mm kit lens is the auto focus is really quiet. Even though my 35mm prime share the same Silent Wave Motor, mine feels a little bit noisy when the focus rotates (I can hear screeching sound sometimes).

Sharpness comparatively speaking, of course my prime blows the kit lens out of the water and it has nice colour rendition as well. But if I zoom in with 18-55mm produced image, I can say it is still okay and sharp. Suffice to say, it's an okay lens for anyone who is starting out.

Thought I'd test out Flickr Video while waiting in my hotel room in Sydney.

Pattern test...may be too crazy to actually use anywhere unless you wanna give someone a seizure or something.

Now we're getting someplace after an afternoon and evening of testing. Done just in time to watch the season 2 premier of the awesome HBO original series, "Rome." A grocery-store flower perched on my new Tokina 12-24 lens.

ADDED NOTE: I just tried replacing the translucent plastic sides with white posterboard, and I think that's the way to go. In other words ... just a big box with white insides seems to work best. I have use a flourescent lamp to illuminate the object, and I will set the strobe (or strobes) in the box with the Gary Fong diffusor and let the light bounce away the shadows.

So I will make another lightbox without holes in the sides. But I will cut a hole in the top and have a white panel I can remove for shooting down on objects. So that's tomorrow's project.

edit: Bob LOVES his Konica TC 35mm camera with his hexanon 50mm 1.4 lens. Really. IF there is a lull in conversation, he'll reach over, grab the camera, pet it lovingly and say "yeah, but, don't you just LOVE this? I mean, LOVE LOVE LOVE it?"

He's crazy.

This poor little wallet is going to have a hard life. I want to test my wallets to the extreme, so I have made this mini wallet. So far, this wallet is going to be;

put in a washing machine

put in a tumble dryer

put in a dish washer

ran over

thrown into traffic

frozen

stood on

sat on

fed to a cow

put in an oven

pulled apart

left outside over night

Can you think of any more?

Maybe it needs a name too.

Test the new Tamron SP 70-200mm f/2.8 Di VC USD Zoom Lens at 200mm F2.8 wide open. It is sharp with details. The colors and contrast are nice. Smooth bokeh at 200mm. I will test it for night shot to see if it can produce the same type star burst as the Nikon 80-200mm F2.8 AFD lens.

In my opinion with this Tamron SP 70-200mm F2.8 lens that is sharp wide open, good result with VC. The best part is the price for this lens. totally worth of that you pay for it. The Nikon 70-200mm F2.8 II is bit more too much IMO.

Test Track is a high-thrill attraction at Epcot at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, sponsored by General Motors The ride is a simulated excursion through the rigorous testing procedures that General Motors uses to evaluate its vehicles, culminating in a high-speed drive around the exterior of the attraction.

Test Track opened to the public on December 19, 1998 after a long delay due to problems revealed during testing and changes to the ride design. It had many opening dates that it missed, such as May 1997 and August 1998. It replaced the World of Motion, though it uses the same ride building. It did not receive its official grand opening until March 17, 1999.

Guests ride in futuristic "test vehicles" in a GM "testing facility" and are taken through a series of assessments to illustrate how automobile prototype evaluations are conducted. The highlight of the attraction is a speed trial on a track around the exterior of the Test Track building at a top speed of 65 miles per hour (104.6 km/h) on a 50-degree banked curve, making it the fastest Disney theme park attraction ever built, next to California Screamin', Rock 'n' Roller Coaster and Tokyo DisneySea's Journey to the Center of the Earth (which uses an improved version of Test Track's ride system).

The ride remains powered up 20 or more hours a day, due to lengthy start up times and nightly maintenance.

Worked well on manual with no meter. Like to have all the camera options functional before I keep it.

This device tests the various PC boards throughout the train. It doesn't tell them what's wrong -- just says that it's not working properly.

Another version that warps and wraps at it opens.
